Getting out of the rehab hospital tomorrow, finally. I haven't been home since January. I'm at the point now where I *use* the wheelchair, instead of *needing* it; I'm still on crutches pretty much all the time, although I can go super-super-short-distances with a 'quad-cane.' That's where the cane is split up at the bottom into four points, so you can put more weight on it and it doesn't fall over. Pain is still crazy; my kneecap is still hopping out of its groove like ten times a day, so I'm betting that this isn't gonna be the last operation on this knee. BUT it is marginally better than it was before, which is something.
Also my disability rating went up, so now when the Air Force kicks me out, I won't starve. That's always nice. That makes writing school into a real possibility, so if the numbers work out as well as they look, I think I'm gonna go for it.
