While in her stress, Alice turned herself back around, double checking Kim's scenario. He wouldn't last long on his own, on a rooftop in the middle of Atlanta. It was hot as hell out there, and the roof would be like a stove top. He would find that out soon. However, his spirits seemed to be up enough to at least keep him talking. If she could keep him talking, she could measure his health.

"We're not leaving anyone behind…", she said loud enough for him to hear, "Do you have water?"

She was torn away from Kim by Jack, making comments about her. Curse her red hair. It was natural, which around here was rare. She was pure country, and proud of it, but dammit…why hadn't she dyed the mop of shame on top of her head?

"I fired the shot…", she said, simply, clenching her shotgun tightly. She couldn't tell if the people were pissed at her for obviously guiding the damn horde into the alley, or not. THEY were the ones that ruined the only escape from here. THEY were the ones that screwed themselves…not her, "What of it?"

Jack watched carefully as the Redhead got structurely defensive. Jack pulled out his knife and tossed it aside, dropped his bow and walked slowly towards her. Arms open wide he slowly wrapped his arms around her in a comforting way and gave a big hug. "Thank you" he whispered as he let go of her. "I've seen my own parents turn into those creatures. I've seen groups of survivors fight each other just to live for one more day and I've had to kill my best friend who tried to use me as bait for those things."

He walked over to his dropped weapons and picked up his knife. "This was his... he tried to stab me in the thigh while we were running away, some friend he was." He picked up his bow and laughed to himself. "Heh, the idiot ran straight into a corner store filled with zombies.... the screams still echo in my head at night." He was quiet for a minute and took a quick look over the edge. "Oh by the way, I broke the ladder because I encountered a Climber. So unless you feel like swan diving into a pool of carniverous zombies, we need to find another way down."

The others began to get cutie with introductions. Alex appeared to be suppressing some pent up fury, Ash was being a worry wart, Red Head One kept up her shouting, Fluffy seemed to be having the time of his life, and Jack seemed happy as a clam once he realized he hadn't been gnawed on by a cannibal. The other guy, Red Head One's savior, was keeping a low profile. Heh. Theo returned to and donned his backpack as well as picking up his tire iron. Here I was suckered into thinking these people had some kind of holdout against this armageddon.

Theo began walking the perimeter of the roof as Red Head One clarified to everyone that she was the one to initially attract the horde. He wanted to put a little distance between himself and her trigger finger. Jack was spilling his guts but soon Theo was out of earshot of the people. He momentarily looked up at, and acknowledged, the military looking man at the top of the building next door. Cannibals had swarmed their alley. Around the first bend some stragglers could be seen lining up for leftovers.

When Theo hit the second corner of the roof he got a prerollie out of his Spirits pack and fired it up. This side of the building was the least populated of the dead. It was the alley opposite of the one they had all used to get up to this roof. His eyebrows perked at the sight of the building's second fire escape route, particularly at the fact that the ladder was raised. Theo continued his slow observation of his surroundings.

Theo didn't even bother approaching the third or fourth corners. Those both overlooked the street which undoubtedly has been overrun by walkers. His three minute power smoke was nearly finished. After a generous final drag Theo flicked the roach of his cigarette; and as a two~for~one he somewhat waved to the guy who somehow deserved a woman to strain her lungs to get him to hear her. Theo strolled over to the six people he was trapped with. He felt their stare as he closed the distance. Could these be the last humans I ever see? "Tadeusz, or Theo if y'all can't pronounce unamerican names," he said in fluent MidWest United States English. "We have the luxury of being inaccessible while that other alley can serve as an exit point."

"Thank you for that, I'll make sure not to get in your way." He replied with a wide smile. "Not that I can get in the way, since I am here and you are there..." He scratched the back of his head as the group on the roof started introducing themselves to each other. He felt isolated. A laugh escaped his mouth afterwards. He was isolated indeed. There was absolutely no way for him to get to their rooftop. Unless he decided to jump across, and he didn't want to risk it. Approaching the edge of the roof, he looked down. Indeed, he didn't want to risk it. Considering how many of those bastards were down there, he would have a safe landing, but would get eaten straight away. He sighed as he looked back up to were the girl stood. He took a moment before taking out a bottle of water from his backpack.

"I have some, you need it?" He asked, ready to throw it across in case they were in need of it. I'm not really thirsty." He heard some of the names, so he decided to yell out his as well. The situation couldn't exactly be much worse. From his position he saw that Walkers couldn't get on their roofs. He was certain they couldn't climb up to his, and he was sure, since the ladder was missing, they wouldn't be able to reach the group as well. "And I am Kim, if anyone's interested!" He said, waving a hand in which he held a bottle of water.
