"What did you say to me, AI? I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear you..." Aurelia's tone was seething - how dare this... this computer program insult her! Useless?! If it wasn't for her, there'd be no survivors, and Aurelia doubted that the AI' droid housing would withstand a Genestealer's claws, seeing how easily they could rip through light infantry and the crewmen of the Intrepid! Useless... Aurelia primed her plasma pistol, ready to fire on either the nearest 'stealer or this damnable bot... And it was fortunate indeed that at that point, Iraqlae alerted Aurelia to the presence of a genestealer group to their left, down the corridor. Aurelia looked directly to her left, and saw that claw marks were being gouged from the door. "Vel'bol xun nind morfeth nind doboren dal? (What do they make their doors from?)" she muttered to herself and readied her plasma pistol to fire on the incoming Genestealers. She also alerted the crewmen and marines to the danger too, just as the first claws began scraping through to the other side.
looking at the Drow, *Angel said "of course i wouldn't be talking about anyone my comment didn't apply to. i was referring to the crew members here. forgive me if i offended you, such was not my intention." the hologram wavered, then shut off. "i appear to be losing power, i have 10 minutes left at current output. could we hurry and get somewhere i can recharge?" *Angel shut off most of the functions she didn't need and set her pathing program to follow the marines.
hey, you. yeah you. you see that ninja over there raiding your fridge? yeah, the one that's waving at you with a sandwich in his hand. that's me. hi!

just cause I'm paranoid doesn't mean everyone isn't out to get me!
a wise friend once told me, "first there was nothing, and then it blew up"
always remember, "you must construct additional pylons"

slamming the head of one of your students because of a comment he didn't realize he said and acting like it didn't happen: priceless

In the split second the Drow woman leveled her pistol on him, Grelarr had snapped his rifle up and had it trained on her heart. He lowered his weapon as she did the same. Just as the woman was telling Grelarr and his team about a few large groups of genestealers quickly converging on their location, the lights on the ship went out. He tapped the side of his helmet, and its view switched to enable him to see in the pitch dark that now enveloped them. His team did the same. He glanced around the hall and could see the creatures at the far end. Five rifles went up and leveled on the genestealers, but before anyone on the security team could fire even a single round, a voice spoke up from behind them, saying they were all useless. The next moment the genestealers were flailing about and clutching at their heads. He glanced down at the metallic sphere on the floor. It was an AI in a small droid. It must have sent out some sort of signal. Clever.
A horrible scraping sound pierced the air. Grelarr looked down the hall so see claws coming up through the floor from below. The damn things were clawing their way up to them. At that moment, the ones down the hall recovered from the signal the AI had sent out. He turned back to the survivors and spoke over the clawing noise.
"We need to move. Now. Follow us. Any able to fight do so, if not stay next to someone who can."
He bent down and scooped the small droid up and set in a pouch on his belt. He brought up a map in his helmet to find a way back to the shuttle bay without going back down the hall that was filling with genestealers. He saw a hall to their left that they could go down and loop back around to another hall that would lead to the shuttle bay. He motioned his team down the corridor, and two of his team led the group of survivors followed by Grelarr and the other two members covering their backs.
