    Name: Mark Cordell

    Age: Sixteen.

Appearance: 5.9 feet in height, weighs 160 pounds, black hair and eyes, craggy features, square chin and high cheekbones, would be handsome except for the pockmarks (lack of modern acne medicine).

Skillset: Can hunt, knows first aid and what plants are medicinal and/or edible.

Personality: Friendly enough, but has no tolerance for stupidity and he can be pretty cold.

Background: Mark's Dad never talked much about his mother and while his Dad was a kind man, Mark learned quickly that there were some things you just didn't ask about, he grew up on the coast and spent his days skipping class, surfing, and helping his Dad on his Dad's fishing boat.

Then the catyclysms came, people screaming hopelessly while they withered in the flames was burned into his mind like the sun burned their skin, they were some of the lucky view to make it into a Vault, but poor conditions took their toll on his Dad's health and despite Mark's best efforts, his Father died in his arms.

Once Mark had buried his Father, he took his Dad's gear and a reflective coat and headed north and west, until he found a home with the Red Scarves.

Mark carries camping and survival gear in his pack (coat, snowpants, flint and steel, gloves, lantern, compass, firestarter, sleeping bag, dried meat and trail mix, canteens and some rope).

He also has his Father's hunting rifle, camp shovel and a Hatchet.
Friendly neighborhood nasty, horrible, oppressive, intolerant, anti-abortion, pro-gun, anti-birth control, conservative Christian.

And I'm okay with shooting animals and eating their meat, too. I also hate cats.

Working on a Char Sheet at the moment but I had one quick question; what is the pace of the roleplay? I'm not sure I'll be able to pump out a quality and quantity filled post more then once or twice a day if that.

Once or twice a day is fine.

I was waiting for the OOC to be up XD

Name: Consanguinity -- genetic relationship. Consanguineous individuals have at least one common ancestor in the preceding few generations. Goes by Consan.

    Age: 15

Appearance: Consan has light crimson hair and startlingly green eyes. Her reflective cloak is a darker red, and she never takes it off, even when in doors. She is 5 foot 5 inches and weighs 132 pounds. She often has a startled look when interrupted in her work, and raises the hood of her cloak when talking to another person. She has an easy access blade on the outside of her cloak that’s as long as her forearm in case of an attack.

Personality: She is often referred to as a cold girl because of her extreme dedication to find a ‘Cure’ for the second cataclysm. Because of her many years of failed attempts to save mankind, she is often short when discussing anything besides science that can help her cause. The only time she seems slightly better is if she is talking with a friend, or someone is as close to becoming an Older as herself. The only time she is warm is when someone has suffered a horrible fate, worst than most. Occasionally when caught off guard one will hear her mumbling to herself, and only Foxriver knows who she's really talking to.

Background: Consan’s grandparents were some of the most revered scientists in the surviving vaults, teaching everything they knew to their children. Consan’s mother had an IQ of 180, while her father had an equally impressive IQ of 179. She even had a brother with an IQ of 175, so it was no surprise that it was determined that Consan had another stunning IQ of 185.

Because of the greatness of brain power their daughter had, her parents often gave her many lessons about genetic mutations learned from her parents, in the hope that she would be able to further the development of research about humanities ‘skin problem’. Luckily they lived on a small farm about a twenty-minute walk to the outskirts of a small fishing village, which allowed all the data and lab equipment to be saved after the outbreak. The full farm is barely contained within the wall being built around the village.

When the outbreak happened, her brother had come home that day in a panic, and soon he was mutating. She ran to her parents’ room as soon as he begged her for help, and to her surprise, found a gun. Even at the tender age of nine she knew the fundamentals of using the weapon. It took all the adrenaline she had to finally get up the courage to kill her brother. Her parents never came back. Because her house lived on the outskirts of the town, she never saw the flood of Older when they left to look for prey. With such an out of the way place, Consan was left alone for years, often without any human contact. That is until she met Annabelle.

She was one of the first Red Scarf’s and met Foxriver when she came to the village with a few others during one of their scavenges. However even with her brain, there was no way for Consan to recognize that her only friend for years, didn't exist. When Foxriver had tried to convince her that Annabelle wan't real, she got violent, almost driving a blade through her own thigh. Seeing that there was no saving her mental mind, Foxriver started the tradition of simply dropping it whenever they couldn't agree on something.

Soon they grew close and Foxriver often came to see how her research was doing. Consan was convinced to take on a few students so that with her rapidly approaching Older years coming there’d be more people to continue with the work being done. Though Foxriver was able to convince Consan to take on apprentices, she was unable to convincer her to have a child until her sixteenth year.

Foxriver only asked her once, and with good reason. Because of her high IQ Consan would be able to have smart children, which again, might be able to develop a ‘cure’. When she said no, Foxriver dropped the matter and didn’t breach the subject again. They continued their friendship like nothing had happened, because to both of them nothing had. After all, they couldn’t afford separations in their clan. Annabelle was still their whispering in the back of her mind, only making an appearance when she thought they were alone.

    How is that? =]

Which House In Westeros Do You Belong To?
    House Targaryen!

Fire cannot harm a dragon. You are strong, confident, bold, and strong. You are likely very wise and good at almost anything you apply yourself to and are quick to pick up both loyal soldiers, fierce friends, adoring fans, and obsessive lovers. There's no doubt that something about you is special and people see it reflected not only in your actions, which are based on a strong intuition you were born with, but also in your appearance. You sometimes just seem to know things and can use this to your advantage. You have a strong mind and are likely very intelligent and poetic and wholly good. You will see injustice and want to fix it. It's your nature. And since you have the blood of the dragon, fire doesn't hurt you. It just makes you more powerful. And fire can also be interpreted as conflict or danger. You are kind and beautiful and wise, like a dragon, but can turn fierce and deadly when angered. No one will want to wake the dragon in you. Targaryens have silver hair and violet eyes.

Clibanarius: I think you misread a lot of the information posted in the OOC. Humanity lived in the vaults for two hundred years, and have only recently been able to venture out into the surface in the last fifty. His father wouldn't have died from the sun's rays, as I think most people would have it ingrained into them that wearing reflective cloaks while outdoors is absolutely essential. Most parents mutated that day.

That being the case, you didn't write how Mark escaped his parents' mutation. You'll have to include all of that information in your CS.

Chyoko: I like your character, but you need to make a few changes.

    - It would be impossible for her to kill three Older at age nine, even if she did have a gun. The Older are extremely hard to kill and apart from being highly, highly dangerous, they have ways of tracking human beings. I think they would have easily found her hiding in her parents' room. You'll have to find another way for her to have escaped.

    - As mentioned before, humans left the vaults around fifty years ago. So her grandparents would've been the vault dwellers, and they would've been the ones to pass down their knowledge to her parents and so forth.

    - Could you include more detail on where exactly she is from and where her family's farm was located? Is she American, ect?

    - This is just for details' sake, but I think being an 165 pound girl in a time when most kids are killing each other for food and supplies is a bit unrealistic. Could you slim her down a bit? I'm not saying she needs to be malnourished, but kids who are at a healthy weight are very rare in this world.

    - Lastly, I don't think Foxriver would ever try to convince anyone to have kids if they didn't want to.
