Name: Ara Sheppard
Size: 5'2" Tall, 103 Pounds.
Race: English-Asian, Primarily English, and American Born.
Personality: Darked/Dejected outlook on everything in her life, Ara seems to love nothing, and find the highest levels of sadness in nearly everything. Ara only finds relief in being alone, doing docile things such as picking flowers and observing a vista, though she seems to carry her immense depression easily, rather seeing it as "just her way" rather than odd or unusual. She has an interest in other women, but highly doubts the concept of ever being in a relationship due to her emotions.
Background: Ara lived a normal life for almost no one, by today's standards as most would see it. Her parents absolutely loved her, she loved them back nearly equally, or even more than what they could muster. She had these ambitions to become a firefighter, to save people no matter where they were. Ara had the tendency to set fire to things, and to then extinguish them with water, just like a fireman would. It made her happy, she felt this joy that most children reach though much greater things. While the goal is typical of a small child, most males wished to be firemen though, not females. People mocked her at school but she never seemed to mind, but her personality derailed at a mere age eight. Her father had worked on cars for some time in his life, and vehicle parts and the like were very commonplace at the Sheppard's home. It was her father's birthday, and was gifted a few new parts for his prized car, a Pontiac Firebird. He had tripped and spilled a tad bit of gasoline on himself, which is not a great deal as he went inside to change his shirt. Ara and her mother planed to come up from behind him, and have Ara hug him whilst holding a cupcake with a candle in it. Ara gave him a surprise hug that caused much trauma to come. Her father's clothing was far from flame-resistant, and began to burn him to all hell, right before his daughter. Ara was not injured as Gasoline fumes are flammable, and she managed to avoid common injury. As the father, confused and in terrible pain, failed to follow the common pattern of "Stop, drop, and roll", and fell into curtains, and multiple other objects before passing out. Ara was terrified, and simply watched, the home began to burn around her, everything; insulation, plaster, wood, clothing, bedding, carpet and so much more, all while staring at her father. Her mother ran back, at a loss for words and simply took Ara by the hand, to walk her out of their home. The last thing she would see as she left that home, was the burning candle, stuck into a cupcake. Her mother brought Ara to an orphanage, and later committed suicide. The rest of her life was spent in said orphanage, she received and education, but refused to speak in classes, and rarely spoke at all. Ara grew up, and no one wished to adopt her due to her story, so she was left until now. She is now 16, with a car, and with only the next two years before adult hood, some would say she looks forward to the coming adulthood.
