Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni: Hitogoroshi-hen

On June 25th, 1983, the entirety of Hinamizawa’s residents was wiped out in a gas disaster of volcanic gas. However before that a girl, Rika Furude was killed by disembowelment. The area of Hinamizawa was sealed off for over 20 years; it’s now open to the public. However many suspicious events occurred during the investigation such as filling Onifaguchi Swamp with concrete which would’ve done nothing to stop the gas.

It’s been said that the government was covering up a bio-terrorism attack. Rika Furude strangely enough, predicted her death. How? No one knows… File No. 34 is a document which showed up on the internet. It says a UFO crash landed into Onifaguchi Swamp and spread out parasites that controlled the villagers to commit violent acts.

Who was writer of this notebook? No one knows, however it’s widely believed to be Miyo Takano, a local nurse of the clinic in Hinamizawa, who was also an occult maniac. Now people come and go to visit Hinamizawa however a group of people are in Hinamizawa, for their own reasons...

Will they get tangled into Hinamizawa’s web of lies? Will they find out what happened in Hinamizawa 20 or so years ago? Just what happened during the day of June 25th, 1983!?

Basically all our characters meet up, “coincidentally”, and try to figure what happened during the Hinamizawa Disaster. For those who have seen the anime/sound novel version of The Great Hinamizawa Disaster, this is a completely different one in an AU, nope not Kakera, a different universe altogether, it’s one where Rika gives into fate and no longer does anything.

Appearance: Anime pictures are preferred but real life and blocks of text are fine!
Personality: Brief, just the main outline, since our characters personality might change during the story. 1 paragraph at the very least, 3 at the most.
History: Nice and not too long, about 2-3 paragraphs please!

Your character must die once in the entire RP.
Try to stay active, if you can’t please tell one of the GMs!
Type, “tried to atone for the sin.” To show you’ve read the rules.
Grammar and such aren't such bothers, just make legible and stuff...

We will have different arcs, and there will be different endings to said arcs, there are two types of endings, Bad Ends, where most characters have unfortunate fates, or good ends, where our characters have fortunate fates.

After the arc is over, one of the GMs shall post it’s over and the fates of our characters then lock the thread. Then a new thread shall open up and then it will start all over again. Also your characters come back to life in the next arc if they died before
