Welcome to 'Northward', a horror-movie themed roleplay that is slightly different from other roleplays; it takes part over many 'episodes', each episode featuring different characters, seeing as most characters in each episode will be killed off, with the possibility of maybe one surviving into the next episode. Read the Interest Check for the basic outline for the story of the roleplay.

Episode One:

And so Episode One begins. We are a film crew, apart of an unnamed University, taking part in an student documentary on the infamous Northward Asylum for the Insane. Your character must be apart of that group, no exceptions, whether they we teacher, student, or technical aid. Below you will find a charcter sheet, so feel free to fill it out and post it below with any questions.

Name: Laura Harper
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Brief History: She's one of the photography club and tends to keep to those she know. Born from a single mom with a twin sister she is a city girl through and through. She is an ordinary student overall but have a knack for everything that touch images.
Personality: She keeps to those she knows but can be extremely curious and will stop at nothing to uncover a mystery that intrigued her. She is slow to anger but when that happens she gives all the red heads in the world their hot headed names.
Role In The Group: Camerawoman
Fear: Cats, she is allergic to them and have grown to fear them when she was clawed by one when she was little.
Other: A 'Goth Girl', so to speak, she speaks rarely and lowly and have sometimes strange habits and interests.

Name: Mark Weeton
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Mark stands roughly at average height for a man his age, his head covered in the somewhat scruffy chestnut brown of his hair, which rests just before his green eyes. He has relatively broad shoulders, and the slightest bit of stubble across his sharp jaw. He has relatevely natural pale skin, and is almost always dressed in some form of jeans and a jacket.
Brief History: Typically, Mark grew up in a suburban household, to a divorced mother and father, living with his mother and seeing his father on weekends. Achieved slightly higher than average grades, he went unnoticed by most throughout High School, getting by through life by keeping his head down and getting things done. It was during his senior year that he discovered his passion for film-making, and since, had dedicated himself to that. Attending a film-making course at the local University, it was a rare sight for him to not have a camera in his hand, or a note pad in his pocket.
Personality: Mark has his own sense of humor that he uses to entertain himself, but is typically an all around nice guy, if a little obnoxious. He isn't afraid to talk to a crowd, but isn't the first to jump at the chance.
Role In The Group: Director.
Fear: Mark is scared of the dark, but finds comfort if looking through a camera lense.
Other: He is known to talk to himself at times.

Name: Hannah "Pidgey" Reeves
Age: Twenty
Gender: Female
Appearance: Hannah stands at five feet, four inches tall and weighs around one hundred and twenty pounds. She has a cute face that makes her appear to be eighteen instead of twenty. Her hair is long and always dyed a different color. At this point in time, it's a deep shade of purple. She had blue eyes that are dull in color but full of life. She always wears long sleeve v-neck shirts that vary in color. Hannah wears a variety of jeans and shorts. Her shoes are always red high top converse.
Brief History: Hannah grew up on a farm. She was the middle child of six siblings. She found her niche at a young age, she was good at researching things and retaining knowledge. As soon as Hannah was able, she got emancipated from her parents to move to the city. She got her GED and is now attending this University.
Personality: Pidgey is a quiet girl. She voices her opinion when she felt it is needed. She is highly observant and may notice things others done. Hannah does flirt and has been called a flirt by friends. If no one else will step up in a group, Pidgey will take over.
Role In The Group: Researcher / Tech aid
Fear: Being rejected and forgotten by her friends.
Other: she got her nickname from her oldest brother.

I have a feeling that Hannah will be the one who notices the ghosts first. She'll know a lot about the place plus she is super observant. It's bound to happen. Lol
