What are the "Powers" limited to?

Powers are highly dependant to the regret the ghost has (the same regret is the reason why you are in the Netherworld)
But common powers ghosts share are: Levitation , Invisibility , Ability to see other ghosts' auras (even when they are invisible) , manipulation of temperature (but not too strong) and communication with the human world.

Once empowered , those generic powers turn into flight , ability to sense other ghosts , and the ability to open gateways to the human world.
Invisibility and manipulation of temperature never change.

However ghost princesses have far stronger powers , they can do everything an empowered ghost can along with magic , ability to invite human souls to the netherworld(simply said , kill humans). And the strongest ability to make contracts with ghosts.

A contract is a purely written document in which the ordinary ghost pledges to serve the royalty in any way he can in return for the powers he gains.

You would only have those powers that i stated as common , your power that you gain by regret can only be amplified by a royalty.
