Organized crime RPG, board/forum based.

rallying interest. hopefully.

alright, so the following is a list of basics about the game in mind.

setting
area: east coast united states, primarily new york and new jersey
time: around 2000, though the 1980s also seem like a viable time frame

the idea is that organized crime wasn't entirely crippled by the task forces in the 80s and 90s, but rather saw some of the stronger facets of their respective cultures (i.e. La Cosa Nostra or Vorovksoy Mir) fall, allowing the smaller, lesser organizations to flourish.

example: in the italian-american organized criminal sub-culture known as "La Cosa Nostra", the New York families referred to the New Jersey families as "farmers." well now the strongest families in new york have nearly collapsed as a result of the convictions that saw their hierarchy placed behind bars, making room for the success of the new jersey crews.

i have a lot of information to divulge with those interested, so questions are encouraged. something some of you may want to know is that not only do we not have a url prepared for the game, but we also lack those knowledgeable of html and css. anyways, yeah! questions?
