With all of the commanders or diplomats of the forces in the tense situation on board the massive space station, the man lead them to the meeting room. Many twists and turns later, they arrived in what appeared to be a control room, with a large table in the center. There was another man, who had the air of authority around him, standing next to what appeared to be a control panel. Before the meeting could begin, the Minotan spread themselves about the room, one near the door, one near the man and the control panel, the rest in various stages so they could observe the entire rooms occupants.
With a hiss, the helmet on Vorant's head sealed. He gave orders into the helmet, in his own language as he had turned off the translator, and was responded to quickly. Vorant made a gesture. Immediately all the Minotan in the room focused their attention on him. A few more gestures later, and they all gave their nods of affirmation. Vorant waited. Another response came from his helmets earpiece.
If the occupants of the room could have seen his face, they would have seen his smile. Vorant drew his own Rail gun, and before anyone could react, fired at the man whom had greeted him. The man fell down, most likely dead, and all hell broke loose. The Minotan quickly eliminated the guards in the room, and the man next to the control panel.
The Minotan next to the door closed it and broke the control panel to it. Pounding and firing could be heard on the other side, as guards tried to break in. The others in the room, excluding the diplomats and their bodyguards, were either subdued and disarmed, or slain. 9 Minotans held a perimeter around the room, guns trained on the one door into the room, and eyes on the other occupants. After barking something into his helmet, Vorant spoke again.
"Diplomats, please do not react violently to this situation. We are simply gaining control of this room. None of you, or your ships will be harmed, as long as you do not prove a threat to us. Though, you might want to look like you've been subdued, or join us, as I suspect the guards who are trying to break down the door will not discriminate." If the other diplomats had keen ears or paid attention, they would have noticed that the voice of Vorant switched between each of the 9 Minotan, never using a pattern or the same Minotaur twice. And there was no jarring breaks to symbolize a switch in the speaker.
As soon as the officers on the ship heard gunfire and the affirmative, they immediately sent a message to the ships they were not attacking to not interfere as they had no attention of attacking them in each of their respective languages and launched the offensive . The bomber cloud dispersed, and one could see the ship had turned to face the station, and a mass amount of pods were going towards the station.
The pods stopped briefly on the shields before, with flashes of light, going on as if they had drilled through. The shield remained intact though. The pods landed, and began drilling into the station, where the drill would open and drop the occupant of the pod into the station, and keep a space vacuum from forming.
The bombers immediately flew over to the ships of the Arcadian unity, and began dropping their packages. At the same time, Hotan's Glory fired it's massive gun, and sent a laser blast into several of the Arcadian ships, destroying a few. From the opposite direction, another Minotaur fleet attacked, knowing friend and foe from reports and images sent to them before the attack.
The fleet consisted of two High general class battle ships, 3 General class battle ships, 6 Colonel class battle ships, and numerous Lieutenant and Commander class battle ships. From the largest of these ships, Colonel up to High General, massive clouds and horders of Dog Class Fighters and Bomber class fighters issued forth, and either bombed the main ships, or protected the bombers and the General and High General ships.
The battle between the Arcadian unity and the Minotaur empire raged on, Hotan's Glory and the other General and High General ships activated a system that intercepted, and blocked outgoing messages. In short, they created a dead zone. Downside, they couldn't use any functions besides those necessary to life of the crew, shielding, and moving.
