This is not a normal RP.
It does not take place in a normal RP world.
It takes place here.
Inside the man-made abyss called the Internet.
And the main character is you.
Not some character you made up. You.

You saw this thread like any other. It was and is just a thread. For now. You read through this, the intro, calculating whether to join, perhaps reading the application skeleton too. Maybe if you're a through sort of person you read the rules, too. You made your decision whether or not to join. Most who see this won't. You are one who did.

You copy-pasted the app, read through my own, checked how long yours should be, and skimmed through the rules impatiently to check what the password is. You saw that this was an avatar/username/profilepic RP, so you wrote the app to fit your own, or maybe even changed yours. You reread it for spelling errors and typed up that strange password.

Then you made the biggest mistake of your life.

You clicked 'Post message'.

The computer seemed to distort fuzzily, but at first you thought it was just your imagination. The glowing screen twisted slightly, seemed to change in ways you couldn't quite put your finger on, like those paradox dice. Suddenly, it shone white, and you tumbled through a widening portal, into a world of whizzing data. The very soul of your computer. All your files, all your apps, even your wallpaper image, swirled around you as you fell through pitch blackness. Soon more started to appear, more data and code. More. You realize as you fall that these are the files of every single internet-capable computer in the world, spinning in a giant hurricane of light in a world of darkness. You wonder why you aren't screaming. Perhaps you are. This is probably the most terrifying experience you'e ever had, because it looks, and feels, and sounds so real. A speck of shining white light blinks to life below you as you fall, brighter than all the rest. You fall one more fateful second thrugh the abyss, then into the portal.

You open your eyes-if you still have them-groggily. You feel different. You look around at this new location, then at yourself.

You are your avatar.

B) Respect other players, and no qwikilling, gmodding or powerplaying. Metagaming to a point is okay. You and the other avatar characters are all perfectly aware of being sucked out of your home worlds and into the multiverse, so we are allowed to acknowledge that.

D) Your character knows everything you know, and again, is you. But I'm not under any circumstances going to ask for personal details.

As far as plot goes, our objective is to find the Crucible of Worlds. This is an artifact that was recently created by scientists that was meant to help them access and explore extraplanar worlds. But upon its creation it could not be contained propery, and then there was a terrible reaction.

It disappeared. The scientists thought it had simply vanished, or had gone to another plane of existence. In part they were correct. The Crucible of Worlds could not be contained in the airy space of reality, so it was sent through cyberspace, a hidden world that humankind unknowingly created ever since the internet was invented.

Soon enough, the artifact miraculously found its way to AntarticTermit's account. At that time, he decided to create a new rp, which was exactly like this one, but he had no idea that it really would suck innocent people out of their worlds into cyberspace. And through this process, the Crucible had been shattered. Each of its pieces were scattered among the realms of cyberspace.

Once a person touches a piece of the artifact, they will see within it a vision of reality, a reflection of the world of its origin. But those that were sucked into the rp have a special connection with the object since they were there when it had been shattered. When one of those participants comes into contact with a piece of the artifact, a portal will be opened, a fabric torn between cyber realms. That will lead to the realm where the next artifact piece is. We will be hopping realm to realm in search of the pieces, and once we make the Crucible of Worlds whole again… well you will see what happens then. I don't want to spoil too much of our plot..

Basic Firearm Use: This includes the use of a Sidearm, Rifle, Shotgun, and Submachine Gun. He can aim and fire, reload clips, and reload the weapons themselves. Gun maintenance however has not been taught to him.

Excellent hand-eye coordination: A practiced skill honed through years of gaming. He only needs to use an iten a few times to learn how to use it without looking. Though he is still a hunt and peck typist.

Sixth Sense: Another skill gained through years of gaming usually activated when something bad is going to happen in game or around him. It isn't terribly accurate for telling you what it is. But it usually means it will happen soon


Abilities gained as Jennifer Walters/She Hulk

Skilled Pilot: Jennifer Walters is a good pilot, as has been shown in multiple issues of Avengers and Fantastic Four.

Expert Attorney: Extremely intelligent, the She-Hulk is a skilled and experienced lawyer. She has won many cases proving various civilians, costumed heroes, and even villains innocent.

Gifted Intellect: In spite of the character's party-girl image, she is a bona fide intellectual, being one of the few superheroines to have attained an advanced post-baccalaureate degree. Jennifer attended UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, a national merit society for top legal scholars. It is revealed in the Savage She-Hulk that Walters has also attended Harvard Law School; though details are not provided, it is probable that she earned a master of laws (LL.M.) degree at Harvard to complement her juris doctor (J.D.) degree from UCLA. She has shown great versatility in her legal practice, representing criminal defendants, corporations, and even domestic violence victims.

Beauty: Physically, she is considered to be an extremely beautiful woman,(Supermodel status) despite her "different" appearance.

Physical Transformation: As a result of a blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner, AKA the Hulk, Jennifer Walters is able to alter her physical form into a female version of the Hulk. As She-Hulk, Walter's skin, hair, and eyes all turn green. Her frame also gains another 9 inches in height and 560 lbs of muscle and bone tissue. Unlike her cousin, the Hulk, much of Jennifer's gained muscle and bone mass is condensed and several times as dense as that of a human. As a result, though she is noticably much larger than she is in her normal form, she looks much lighter than she actually is. Also unlike the Hulk, or rather certain Hulk incarnations, Jennifer retains her full intelligence and personality in her She-Hulk form. Most of the time, Walters is able to control her transformation, enabling her to change back and forth at will. Thus, her specialized adrenal gland is not as advanced as that of the Hulk. And while it can augment her abilities, she can still remain more in control than the Hulk.

Superhuman Strength: As She-Hulk, she is proportionally stronger than her Jennifer Walters form. This means that any extra strength gains as Jennifer Walters through intense physical training will be amplified, making her She-Hulk form that much stronger. As a result of her intense training, She-Hulk's strength currently surpasses the base strength levels of the Gray, Savage, and Professor incarnations of the Hulk, at least while they're in a calm emotional state. Originally She-Hulk possessed enough superhuman strength to press a maximum of 50 tons, right after she came back from the first Secret Wars as Thing's replacement in the Fantastic Four she began to workout with Thing's weights and got her strength up to at least 75 tons but through her career she continued to lift even greater weights, and the uppermost limit of her potential remains unknown. However, it is known that she is able to lift in excess of 100 tons. It was also stated that when angry or in fear her strength increases, but not as much than that of her cousin. She-Hulk's strength has extended into her highly developed leg muscles, enabling her to leap great distances or heights. She is capable of leaping to a height of over 800 feet and a distance of over 1,500 feet in a single bound. She achieves less heights and distances than that of the Hulk or Abomination due only to her smaller frame.

Weight: 2480, because of Cybernetic stuff, would be barely half that is all organic.
Colors: Similar to picture, but Most fur would be black, with the black being red, as well as the claws, A floofy silver mane, and Slitted eyes, black corneas, and Irises that are a mix of red/blue/gold/green with a very dark green ring around the outer edge. [Oddly, that is my actually IRL eye color XD, just the iris part i mean.]
Clothing: Likely to be stereotypical bartender look, cause that seems to stick in my head lately.

Personality: Well, i find myself incredibly hard to describe. Variable is a good word for it, I already try to model character personalities after what i'd do in a situation. I tend to adapt to different things, as well as look for unusual ways to handle things that 'quote unqoute' "Normal" people wouldn't consider a possibility, though that's not to say i won't use simpler methods if they'll work. I HATE mundane things, and honestly, given this situation i'm liable to start dancing joyfully at what's happened. I also don't particularly like humans, while i can tolerate em and even be friends, it's gotta be a special kind XD

Note: I absolutely HATE, and i mean HAAAATE, being ignored, overlooked, or dismissed without reason. Nothing ticks me off more than someone pulling some line that implies my opinion is unworthy of consideration >=C and if someone actually shows a superiority complex or god complex towards me, they are likely to have serious trouble making friends with me.


Skills: As variable as i am, and likely to change as much as my form does, though i'll list currently present or permanent abilities.

Permanent Abilities:

Mechanical Shifting: Not technically shape shifting, but he can modify or change things manually as can be done with just about any machine.


Dragon Origins: No matter what form i'm in, It originated from the original dragon avatar i had for years, and as such things from it always persist, be it colors, patterns, eyes, powers, or any other random thing. This includes predisposition to Shadow, Water, Ice, Demon based abilities, as well as resistances to them, Various draconic physical traits popping up at random, and an unwavering love of dragons, that only falters when there's one giving me a reason to beat some sense into them. [like the ones in dragon age or skyrim xD] All characters i've made I've even considered shape shifted forms of my first original, and just him having fun by 'being' another person.


Current Abilities subject to change:

Sergal Species: Enhanced Senses, Increased size over a human, High muscle density giving greater strength despite slim appearance, Body built for great flexibility and speed. Strong Jaws that are liable to take of a limb or behead someone if i can fit their head in there XD Probably not gonna do much against serious armor.

Cybernetic Enhancements: See linked picture above for ideas of it. But basically, Slightly further improved strength, improved durability, MUCH heavier than I look, can't swim, but don't need to breath or require air, Resistant to certain elements, as well as a self repair function that, while not rapid enough to replace an arm in mere moments, is designed to ensure survival even if 'blown apart'.

Note: Self repair function is not flawless, it takes time for small things, minimal damage can take up to a minute, more major damage can take sever to 10 minutes, and the 'blown apart' state, can take hours to recover from. During which his 'core' could be taken and cut off his ability to recover his form, though it does try to imitate the area around him to be harder to see.


Past Abilities that still apply:

'delightfully' mad: Not like a mad scientist, but the kind of mind that see's options most people don't, gains useful insight, experience, and mental skills from things most people consider unimportant, and especially adores things that aren't "NORMAL". Also adores games.

Strategy Buff: I've always been nuts for strategy games, and any game that can make me actually 'want' to plan out what to do next. from decades of this sort of thing I gained all kinds of tactical experience, though not so much in 'real' experience yet.

Strangely acute senses: I often wow, or wierd out, people with my senses, how i can understand a conversation going on over 100 feet away 3-4 room down the house while their talking with just normal tones, i can smell things that i certainly can't see, i can see better in the dark than anyone else i know. I also have had a habit of less humanish actions, like prowling, climbing on all 4's, and an odd adrenaline state when i feel i may be in danger, everything focuses horribly, i can move so accurately i make almost no noise, i can 'hear' the bones in my neck when i turn my head and every other noise, even a bug on the wall, among other things.

^The wierdest part is, this is all true.

I'm open to suggestions for other realms, but it has to be something I am already familiar with. And as embarrassing as it is to admit, there is a LOT I am not already familiar with.. :/

Sorry, but I can't have you be able to change your form every time you change your avatar or profile pic. You have to stick with the form you submit. She-hulk/Jennifer Walters is okay, because that is a canon character that has an alternate form. Like my character, Tsunade, can use a basic transform just to take on the appearance of other people (but she can't use their abilities though).

EDIT: Your self-repair function that ensures you to survive even if blown apart seems like a bit much. I have to ask you to remove that.

Appearance: Angel’s wings are translucent but are solid and feathery to the touch and can extend to four feet long on either side of her body. She has retractable claws that can be seen when she extends them. Her eyes are a light grey, like a storm cloud.

Personality: Angel is quite friendly, actually, but comes across as shy because of her quietness. The truth is that she simply doesn’t have a lot to say to some people, and she prefers to observe and listen rather than talk. When she is good friends with someone, however, she can be extremely hyper around them and ramble on about anything. All in all, she’s a bit of an enigma.

Skills:

Before: A good swimmer (although her new form might inhibit that a bit). She can be very creative and also has a knack for languages. She also has the knowledge of whatever games she has played in the past and their locations. She has been told that she has good “critical thinking skills”.

Now: Angel retains her skills of the real world, but now she can fly and glide for short distances before her wings tire. She also has the abilities you would expect a cat to have – heightened senses, good agility and balance, claws and teeth. She will have to hone her newfound fighting skills to be any good, though. Being a kitten, she also has a certain cuteness factor that she will not hesitate to exploit.

The self repair thing doesn't mean he can't loose, and it's not rediculously fast XD it'd take a while to repair even minor damage, it just means he'd reconstruct from little pieces given time. you could call it a 'core' that someone could steal and lock up and he wouldn't be able to XD It's not meant to make him more powerful or anything, even if he can avoid 'death' it leaves him horribly vulnerable for a long time if nobody can protect his 'pieces' xD Hell, it could even be used as a plot device at once point.

and i can drop the shape changing part XD though if he's mechanical he could directly modify things given time anyway too XD. and the repair function if that little explanation doesn't make it more viable.

aaaand, considering i have no idea what kinds of games your familiar with, i have no idea which ones to suggest. I have 100's of games i'm familiar enough with to suggest XD i suppose i'll just drop a list and see what works >.>
