    Animals kill and eat other animals. Why can't we? We're animals, too.

    Also, we use more of the animal, like the brainz of a cow is used to tan leather.

    Eating meat is one of the stupidest claims of "animal abuse" I've ever heard. It's completely natural. Countless species they support eat meat, after all.
