Digimon Uprising: Continuance [RBY & Tobiax][OOC]

In a world which exists in a digital dimension, peace was something that had been longed for years. For decades, the inhabitants of the world had called upon humans to act as their saviors, and those saviors of theirs had created legends. Legends which would be told in the coming years many times.

It is now the year 2012, and yet again, a disaster has struck the Digital World. The Digimons have called upon us humans once more, and it's time for us to relieve them of their suffering once and for all.

Story:

The Digital World, a place that seemed unreachable but yet had been explored by many before. Some of them were children, but some of them were adults. And those adults who could only but awe at the marvel they had step upon had begun to try to co-exist with these creatures known as the Digital Monsters, or Digimon for short. Everything would have gone splendidly, if it weren't for the rebellious evil residing in the Digital World. For years it had tried to diminish the relation between the Digimon and Humans, for a selfish reason of reigning over every existence. But left in the wake of their arrogance were those who had stood up against them and slain the beings of darkness. The Digimons, along with the help of their human Tamers, had achieved new levels of power beyond the imagination of the villains. They tried hard to fight back, but their efforts were rendered useless by the bond between the humans and the Digimons.

For years tyranny arose, and for years it was shut by the combined power of the humans and the Digimons. These unfortunate events had gone on for a long time, and were expected to continue in the future as well, which is why the humans with the help from the Digimons had created an organization known as the DATS (Digital Accident Tactics Squad). Their members, especially the boy named Marcus, had taken down the digital invaders and vanquished them once and for all. However, small bits of the shadow still remained and waited for the day when it would loom over the skies of both, the Digital World and the human world. After the epic showdown of the humans and Digimons, DATS had been dismissed and the members resumed their normal lives.

However, after 6 years, time for the alliance of the humans and the Digimon has come once more. For the sirens of the war have gone off once more in the Digital World and this time the villains have come back with much more to offer than they ever could. Under the supervision of a new leader, DATS was reformed under the name of "Alliance". And now, the Alliance has entered the battlefield along with it's new members, and new powers.

Digivices were used as amplifiers for increasing the power of a Tamer and sending it to the Digimon. But the Alliance has created a new kind of Digivices which they call the "Drive-Digivices" that reverses the concept of the normal Digivices. And so, this time, instead of the Digimons it will be the humans who will be standing at the front lines to face the enemy.

When the rp left off, the team had descended into the Alliance base and met Lieutenant Issac, so he could recruit Jordan to the cause, introduce another fighter, and assign a team leader.

Character Name: Sonia Kita

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Personality: She's a complete chatterbox and sometimes has to be made to shut up. She's always searching for the best in everyone (even when there's none to be found) and is always willing to lend a hand even when she knows she'll never be thanked. She's always willing to take blame, even when it's clear it's not her fault, and seems rather naive about human nature. She won't cry in front of anyone, but she has trouble completely concealing when she's upset. It takes a lot to get her angry, though, even when she is, she tries to hide it. It disappoints her how many digimon are aggressive and harmful to humans, but at the same time she's proud that at least her partner will never be so harmful.

Biography: Sonia was generally a good kid - played nicely with others, looked after her baby brother whenever their sister left, rarely got into any fights at school, did her homework in a timely manner, covered for her sister whenever she snuck out, you get the drill. However, at the age of 12, her sister's behavior got worse. Unknown to Sonia, her sister had a drug problem that was getting increasingly more difficult to finance and was affecting her temper badly. So when Sonia came home, she found her sister going through their little brother's room for birthday money. Sonia called her out; her sister's reaction was to attack. Sonia had gotten hit more than a couple of times when their dad intervened. sonia got away and hid in her room; her sister ended up stabbing their dad in the back with a pocketknife and leaving. While her dad recuperated in the hospital, Sonia came to the conclusion that, if she'd just left her sister alone, her dad would be alright. She's spent her time since trying to atone for her mistake.

Digimon Name: Keramon (nicknamed Abbie)

Level: Rookie

Personality: Obedient to Sonia, though they don't always see eye to eye. Whereas Sonia is a pacifist, Abbie will make you behave and stay in line even if it means beating you to a bloody pulp. She's on constant alert for danger, even if it seems like she's just goofing off a lot. She's much quicker to anger and may sneak away from Sonia's side to do what she feels is necessary. If she's not laughing, be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

Skills: Crazy Giggle (bullets of light fired from her mouth), Network Flapping (a blow to the nearby ground causing a minor shockwave), Crazy Smoke (produces a noxious gas from her mouth that can cause sickness)

Character Name: Takeshi Mori

Age: 14

Personality: The short of it: he does not want to be here. He is not interested in fighting against digimon and would rather be at home reading and generally having a normal life. However, Tentomon will be deleted if he resigns due to his instability. As such, until he can leave peacefully at no risk to anyone, Takeshi will stay with the group. When it comes to the fighting, he generally follows Tentomon's suggestions. While he doesn't talk much within the group, he seems to be a good listener. He seems very competent at recollecting and organizing facts into a more comprehensive view of the situation. His main problem is that he holds his cards very close to his chest - any problems, any drawbacks, any possible revelation of doom, all kept secret until he knows for sure that it's right.

Biography: Takeshi grew up in a fairly argumentative household, spending many a night listening to his mother and father fight. When he was 6, his mother took him and moved to a smaller apartment on the other side of town. He no longer saw his older brother and his father apparently had no interest in contacting him or his mother. The days of seeing his extended family had ended. It wasn't until he was 12 that, looking at a family photo, Takeshi understood why: he looked nothing like his father, nor like anyone in the Mori family. It wasn't difficult to put two and two together, though he refused to hold himself responsible for his mother's actions. He instead resolved to simply be someone he could be proud of and began to buckle down on his studies. One day, on his way home from classes, something flew into him and knocked him to the ground, screaming - a giant red insect. Takeshi naturally panicked at first until he realized the bug was just as scared and then managed to calm it down. He had barely finished when the Alliance agents caught up and saw what he had done. Takeshi ended up recruited a bit forcibly into the organization and will soon start receiving missions.

Level: Rookie

Personality: Tentomon is always on edge, alert for any signs of danger. He's a competent fighter, only offset by his frayed nerves and his occasional overbearing bouts of zeal for the elimination of digimon from the Metal Empire. The nature of the city (metal framework) leaves him unnerved, and quite frequently he needs to retreat to his "happy place" for an hour or two. He comes across as quite somber and a touch twitchy.

Skills: Super Shocker (throws a ball of electricity at foes), Talon Attack (scratches enemy with talons), Double Punch (gets in two quick, successive blows)

Name: Nekane Yamimoto

(Why does height and weight matter again?)
Personality: Nekane is a quiet, soft spoken girl who doesn't really know how to relate. She tries to express herself in non-verbal ways, but that rarely comes across as she wants it. She doesn't speak much, but is prone to emotional outbursts. Tumultuous waters lie beneath the smooth, icy surface.
Bio/History: Not much is known about her early years. That information has been locked away by her mind. What is known is that a tragic event separated her from her parents, and left her to bounce in and out of temporary homes, with aunts and uncles or qualified yet unrelated parties. This lead to her ultimate shut down to socialization. It doesn't help that her petite frame makes her look even younger, and she has trouble working her way into pier groups. She did, however, take an interest in self expression through art. This, however, did not turn out to well, being that her media ranged from house paint or rocks and sticks, to cleaning supplies, or even her own blood once. She was then taken to a home out in the country, and given a proper sketch pad. It was there she found a new outlet, in the form of collectable cards and virtual pets.

Personality: Gazimon is a rowdy, rambunctious Digimon who is full of life. Despite being a virus attribute, he can be caring to those he considers his family. He is harsh to enemies, but also has a tender side for those he feels like letting see it, who are usually those he protects. To those he doesn't know, he seems rash and goofy, to those he dislikes, he seems hard and harsh.

X- Laser: Fires a beam of continuous energy
Hearty Shatter: Fires a ball of flame while airborne.
Critical Crunch: A strong bite attack.

Master Fire: Releases a red aura, accumulates energy and breathes out a flame with sufficient strength from the mouth.
