    What's your personal policy on "forget and forgive"?

    When is enough, enough? What can't you forgive? Forget?

    Enlighten me.

    It all depends on what happened.

    Pulled into war to serve a vision;
    That's supposed to last a thousand years.
    Part of a machine;
    Unstoppable, as merciless as tidal waves.

    Depends on who and what.

    For the most part, it's "Fuck me over, and I'll shoot up your fucking house."

    Generally willing to forgive, but I think it's largely a mistake to forget.

    Definitely depends for me too.

    If I understand why someone did it, I'll be more likely to forgive/let it go. Intentions matter to me a lot.

    Totally. If someone has a larger pattern then it's a bad mistake to forget.

    This.

    Most slights are something that, given time, can be forgiven and moved on from. It takes something really, really terrible for me to never forgive somebody. I don't forget the bad shit people do to me, but I'm willing to let it go most of the time, assuming there's a conscious effort to fix the situation.

    A special thanks to Vanquished for the sig!
