If you've seen Alice (the 2009 mini series, split into 2 episodes), it's going to be similar to that. This is not the original Alice in Wonderland, so expect some differences. I'd like to cast some people into some of the original roles (which you can give different personalities and appearances), but I'd also like some to be created. There will not be the same relationships created as in the series (such as Alice and the Hatter don't need to end up together, and Alice doesn't need to date the Queen's son...)

If you have not seen the mini-series, don't worry, you can just read up on the wiki to get a general idea. Plus I'll put the main stuff here. The characters in the series all appear to be human, but I might allow some changes.

Alice somehow ends up in Wonderland by falling through a giant looking glass. She then proceeds to try to find her way back home. The Red Queen rules Wonderland from the Heart Casino, where people from the real world (Oysters) are taken to, sedated, and play games where they always win, resulting in happy emotions (happiness, lust, passion, etc). These emotions are drained and turned into drugs for the people of Wonderland to take, keeping them under the Queen's control. Sometimes the Oysters regain their memories and try to escape. Years ago there was a battle that wiped out the White Queen and all of her Knights and other subjects, but some survivors might still remain. (And maybe the White Queen is still alive?) There is a resistance, it's members seek to free the Oysters from the Queen's control.

It's been 150 years since the last Alice appeared in Wonderland... Her story was much different than it shall be now. The last Alice followed a white rabbit down a hole. She frantically grabbed at the walls, hung with paintings, ancient maps, cracked mirrors, and demonic masks. She pulled out books, jam jars, a crystal ball, a badger claw, a monkey’s hand and a human skull in her frantic effort to stop herself. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she found herself in what appeared to be a round hall with many doors. One of them led to a fantastical world - bizarre, illogical, often dangerous, absurd, and strangely beautiful. Wandering through the land, she allied with the White Queen against the Red Queen, slaying the Jabberwocky, sending the Red Queen into exile, before Alice finally returned to her home world.

Many things have changed since then.

The Red Queen escaped the land she was exiled to, regaining her power in Wonderland and killing off all of the White Queen's subjects. The White Queen herself disappeared, thought to be killed off along with her Knights. Some, however, believe she is still alive, waiting to take back her rightful place as queen. Meanwhile, the Red Queen had her scientists build a large Looking Glass - a portal to the other world, activated by a key that looked to be a ring. With this device, she kidnapped humans (Oysters) and removed their memories, placing them into a casino. The games are manipulated into a constant winning streak, causing the Oysters to have many happy emotions, which are turned into drugs. These drugs were given to all of the people in Wonderland, keeping them under the Red Queen's control for as long as they had an addiction. Some of the people, however, thought it was wrong to steal the Oysters from their home world, and in secret organized the Resistance, led by Caterpillar. The members planned to help the Oysters regain their memories and return them to their world. They also want to steal the Ring so they would have power over the Looking Glass.

Drugs contain happy human (Oyster) emotions. They are processed by the world's best scientists (Walrus and Carpenter) into a liquid. Whoever drinks it instantly feels the emotion.
Warning: Only one drop is needed to feel the emotion entirely. Addiction may occur, and more drops will be needed to allow you to feel the emotion. If too much is consumed, your insides might explode.

Hatter - owns a business that sells the human emotions like drugs, a member of the resistance seeking to free the Oysters from the Queen's control. TAKEN - Pinball

Mad March - an assassin for the Queen of Hearts. He was scientifically brought back to life, now possessing various superior skills (you can come up with them). He will eventually be sent to find and kill Alice, or whoever else. TAKEN - Shoryu

Queen of Hearts (Red Queen) - ruler of Wonderland, kidnaps Oysters to gamble in her casino and make happy emotions to use in drugs. TAKEN - Katelyn

Tweedledum and Tweedledee - disturbed psychiatrist-like doctors in the Queen's service that tortures people in the dungeon to get information.

Walrus and Carpenter - scientists who work for the Queen, processing the emotions from the Oysters in the casino into drugs. TAKEN - CommunistZed

The White Rabbit - an organization, led by Agent White Rabbit, that works for the Red Queen and abducts people from the real world with the use of the Looking Glass. TAKEN - JurassicHole

Oysters - multiple people can be Oysters that regained their memories and try to escape or have escaped... They are humans from the real world that are kidnapped and put into the casino after having their memories wiped. They then are manipulated into having happy emotions, which are then processed to the room where the Walrus and Carpenter turn the emotions into drugs TAKEN - Stock and XxSkittlezxX

This IS casual, so please put in enough effort to post 1-3 paragraphs and check your spelling and grammar so it's understandable and doesn't make my brain melt. Thanks!

History: Axos was born during a happy time where the White Queen ragned but sadly it all went to ruin when the Red Queen took over. When she was five Axos's father and a band of other were the first to stand up to the Red Queen. But sadly they were put to death. Since then Axos's mother became addicted to Joy and has forgotten about her husband leaving Axos growing up without both parents. Axos would always run into the wrong kind of people and make mistakes leaving herself as the only one to blame along with getting addicted to Lust. She does her best to break free from the drug but she like most has withdrawls.

Once she turned fifteen Axos stumbled on a group that had knew her father and the others that died that faitful day. They helped Axos to get her mind straight and join them but sadly one day her withdrawls were to powerful that she ran off to relieve herself in the dose. When she came back Axos found the leader of the group dead leaving Axos and others to work against the Queen alone. Throughout the years the other leaders got old and retired leaving Axos was now reffered to as the Caterpillar on the streets to take over. So far the Resistance is quite large and working diligently to save the Oysters.
Other: Axos has worked very hard in her years to get close to many in the Queens court and military and has succeeded in much. Sadly she needs that ring and can never get to it.

History: CHesh was born in the White Queens court before the Take over. His parents both kept the boy under complete shelter. He was always dressed and groomed to be proper and learn how to be a faithful servant of the queen. When the Red Queen took over Chesh's parents were killed and his world turned upside down. For a while Chesh held a grudge against his parents and was wreckless with his life turning into a hitman for hire. When he mixed drugs and started to sell them on the low for extra cash it did not take long for his dealings to catch the wrong attention. Soon Chesh was working for the Red Queen and hunting down Runnaway Oysters and placing them back in sedation. Chesh was in charge of taking out any part of the Resistance that tried to help an Oyster. He worked in his place for about a year till he ran into Caterpiller or atleast he didnt know it was her for a while. After a series of events and some thinking on his part Chesh faked his death and started working for the Resistance. He is now Caterpillers main hunter.
Other: Chesh is always wearing something blue on his person whether its a watch, belt buckle or shoelaces. They all light up. His signature item is his green and violet cat pendant.
