The Batman:

Who is he? Some says he's a violent monster, half man, half bat. Other's says he's just an ordinary man in a black cape. Some says that he's dangerous and should be stopped, others claims he's the hero Gotham has waited for. Truth is, no one knows who the Batman is, maybe not even he himself. However, the question that has come to light in recent years is : Is he alone? Up until three years ago, people surely did believe that. However, now he has his side-kick, Robin, the Boy Wonder. And his partners, Nightwing and The Hood, because, as it would seem, the Batman can't do everything alone.

Now, it is up to these three young men to balance their lives. A social life, girls, parties, homework, teen-angst. A family that 'Dysfuctional' doesn't even begin to describe it. They have to bear the gifts, and the curses of being brought into the Wayne family.

Not only that, but they also have to keep their double lives as Gotham's three brightest and best crime-fighters. Because, should the Batman fall, it is up to them to keep the cursed city safe.

Backstory:
Born to Erin Todd and Peter Jackson. Jason's story was a sad one from the start alone. His mom was a heroine addict, and his dad was abusive and a thug, running with various gangs. As Jason was growing up, it just got worse, and worse. His father got into deeper and deeper with the mob, and his mom's addiction got worse and worse. Till he was 6 years old, and he came home from school one day. and he found his mom, laying on the floor. Needles in her arms. She had died, on an overdose. His father was furious. And his abuse only got worse.

At the age of 8, Jason's life was radically changed. He had gone from a nice kid, to a hardened criminal. His dad was running with Thugs, and Jason was running scams and pickpocket-cons. He got into trouble with other street kids, and learned a thing or two about fighting. Jason was angry, already as a pre-teen, his anger was big, as it became apparent when he beat an older boy half to death because the other boy insulted Erin.

Half a year later, he stole the wheels of the batmobile, that got him onto the radar of the Batman. And another year later, he saved Batman and Robin from Two-Face and his thugs, by using a Batarang he had found long ago, and practiced with. Jason had been put in a foster home, because of his criminal past. Where one Mr.Wayne took an interest in him, making sure he went to private school, and so on. Jason came to see Bruce as a guardian, not as a parent ,but really as his guardian angel.

When he was 12, it all became real. He found out that Bruce was the legendary Batman, and instantly wanted to become his second Robin, upon learning of the secrets of the Batfamily.

• A free-runner from birth, Dick is the last surviving member of the famous acrobat family "The Flying Graysons", and was undoubtedly the most prodigious aerialist in the entirety of Haly's Circus, being one of only three (the other two of course being his parents) to perform the quadruple somersault. An unrivaled natural athlete, Dick continued his training under the Dark Knight mere months after his adoption and discovery of the Batcave, and has far surpassed his mentor in acrobatic skill and instincts.
• Since the young age of nine, Richard has been trained by Batman in everything from more than a dozen martial arts, to criminology, escapology, and the sciences of physics, mathematics, and engineering. Although not a weak link in any particular area, Dick has shown particular skill in multiple martial arts styles, from Aikido and Judo to the more free-flowing style of Capoeira and the weapon-oriented styles of Bojutsu and Eskrima.
• Although not one of the more practical of his skills, Dick maintains a natural aptitude to rally and lead his fellow heroes into even the most death-defying situations. This also carries over to his personal life, where he is often seen as the "poster-boy" of Wayne Enterprises due to his eccentric personality and natural presence in Blüdhaven's Newspapers and numerous press conferences on behalf of his adopted father. In particular, since being named head of the Blüdhaven Office of Wayne Enterprises, Dick has tirelessly attempted to improve the life of the former whaling community's citizens, from ordering construction of a newer power generators and improving the city's numerous ports and police stations. All in all, the socioeconomic situation in Blüdhaven has increased almost tenfold since the arrival of both Nightwing and the man behind the mask.
• As a traveling acrobat, and later as an apprentice to the CEO of the multinational Wayne Enterprises, Dick learned and eventually mastered a multitude of languages, speaking Spanish, Mandarin, Hindi, Russian, Japanese, and Arabic fluently. Although not as practical, Dick still withholds an understanding of "hobo signs" and "circus language".

History: Born to Johnathan and Mary Grayson, Richard's early years were spent in the train and on the trapezes of the Haly's International Traveling Circus. Unlike that of his mentor, Dick's childhood wasn't spent within the halls of Wayne Manor or on the tough streets of Gotham, The man known as Nightwing was raised all around the world, experiencing everything he could as it happened around him and his close knit bond of "Circus Kids". Like his parents before him, young Dick was trained to become an acrobat, something the child would cherish and love for the rest of his life. During a routine trip to Gotham City, Dick, then age nine, discovered the aging Mr. Haly being extorted by common mafiosos of the city. Before he could ask his guardian what was going on, Dick was pulled to the side by his parents and introduced to the Drake family, including the toddler that would become one of his successors to the mantle of The Boy Wonder, Tim Drake. Moments later, Dick found himself climbing onto the trapeze of Haly's Circus for the last time, when his life would be changed forever.

During the finale of the headline act, Dick was supposed to perform a uniform maneuver in order to segway into his parents' death defying quadruple somersaults performed with no net. It was then that the trapeze wires laced with acid by the mobsters he had seen earlier snapped, sending Richard's parents, and the hope of a normal life he had, to their deaths. Just as Dick had made his way down from the platform, Dick was approached by Mr. Haly himself, however, Dick angrily stormed off, wishing to be as far away from his parents' bodies as possible. As he escaped towards the circus train, and was subsequently taken captive by the two criminals that had murdered his parents. However, this captivity did not last long as the two thugs were taken out by the Batman himself. After freeing the boy, the Dark Knight disappeared, and Dick, lingering by the criminals' bodies for some time, was approached by none other than Bruce Wayne, who had happened to be in the audience at the time. The billionaire consoled Dick and led him back to the circus where the panic had somewhat calmed down. The man approached Mr. Haly, who hugged Dick upon his re-arrival and thanked Bruce for returning him. Making his way back to the circus train, the traveling troupe stayed in Gotham for some time to help the investigation into the two thugs that had murdered his parents. During that time, Mr. Haly and Mr. Wayne, when it was announced to Dick that he was being considered for adoption. After a heartfelt conversation with Mr. Haly, Dick agreed to the adoption, and Bruce Wayne became his legal guardian, and the young boy added the last name Wayne to his own.

Stuff about being Robin, running into Tim deducing his identity, going off to Teen Titans, returning to see Jason as Robin, hissy fit, turns into Nightwing, eventually moves to Blüdhaven, opens a Wayne Enterprises office there (Along with Lucius motherfuckin' Fox), improves the life of the citizens because he's awesome like that, and the intro post will be you know what.

Genius Intellect: His naturally high intellect allows him to excel in computer science and more importantly as a skilled detective. Further more, Tim apparently has a firm grasp of assorted scientific techniques including biology, engineering and genetics. Batman states that Tim could potentially be smarter and better than himself. The Batman has trained him in many disciplines, such as forensic, criminology, acrobatics, stealth, disguise, and escapology. Tim has a far beyond normal mental concentration and mental focusing ability that allows him to think and calculate beyond most human beings.

Detective: Tim is capable of observation, forensic investigation, and inductive and deductive reasoning. Human intuition is an unlearnable trait and one of Tim's most effective tools. At the age of about nine years old, Tim Drake was able to deduce Robin's secret identity as Dick Grayson when Robin performed a quadruple somersault, in which Grayson was only one of the three people who could perform such a flip. This deduction also allowed Drake to deduce that Grayson's guardian Bruce Wayne was Batman.

Multi-lingual: Tim can speak a wide variety of languages due to training from Batman.

Tactician and Strategist: Tim, much like Dick Grayson, is also a brilliant and experienced strategist with impressive leadership skills.

Talented Martial Artist: Tim has been trained by Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, Lady Shiva and assorted others in a wide assortment of martial arts disciplines which include but are not limited to Kung Fu, Aikido, Jeet Kune Do, Escrima, Tae Kwon Do, Judo, Wing Chun, Hapkido, Karate, Savate, Kendo, Ninjitsu, Tai Chi, Leopard Kung fu and Biangan. His abilities with the bo-staff gives him an extra edge with his fighting. Although he has not mastered near as many fighting styles as his mentors, he has managed to use the training given to be considered a highly skilled combatant.

Equipment:

RR Shuriken: These are essentially shuriken with Tim's Red Robin Insignia on them. A few have dull points as to cause only blunt damage.

Collapsible Bō: Robin uses an staff that can emit a taser effect and modified the weapon by carving small holes on each end, enabling the staff to generate a distracting whistling sound whenever it is put to use. Tim has found this extremely effective in keeping opponents off guard, allowing him to gain an upper hand in fights where he would otherwise be outnumbered.

Name: Damian Wayne, Damian al Ghul, Ibn al Xu'ffasch

Appearance:


Damian currently sports a variation of his Robin suit that is more armored in nature. He has a slightly larger utility belt and retractable glider wings concealed in the back panels of his costume. Across the back of his utility belt rests his sword and on his thigh, his curved dagger. Damian now also has a longer cape, that is black on the outside with the interior being yellow. When spread, the cape is jagged in a cross between feathers and Batman's own bat pattern. He often wears his hood, as unlike many other Robins, Damian is more than capable of fighting blinded. Like his father, Damian has black hair and blue eyes, he stands about 5'4" and weighs about 135lbs. While small in stature and size, Damian is trained and more toned than an Olympic athlete.

Personality:

Damian is arrogant, somewhat ignorant and incredibly headstrong. This is due to his upbringing with his mother filling his head with ideals of him becoming the world's greatest warrior. In the last two years, under the wing of his father, Bruce Wayne, the Batman. Damain has become more restrained and disciplined but still strikes out with his words and is very brash. A reliable warrior, but unpredictable in nature.

Backstory:

Damian is the biological son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul. Genetically modified to be the perfect warrior, his mother ensured he had the best from an early age and was well trained and educated. Introduced to his father at the age of ten, Damian admired the man his father was and eventually desired to become his sidekick. While originally used by Talia to disrupt Bruce's work, Damian eventually did become Robin under Dick Grayson who assumed the mantle of Batman for a short time. Upon Bruce's return, the father and son duo would continue to work together.

Skills:

Business Management: Trained by his mother and the League of Assassins in the way of controlling a company with an iron grip. Even as a young boy he knows that in business there are wars and even in war there are assassins. Damian is involved with the Wayne Enterprises' board members. He even intimidated the board members by tracking down financial irregularities within the Wayne Enterprises' accounts.

Engineering: Damian is a highly advanced engineer, shown when he was able to complete his father's plans for a flying Batmobile, Alfred stated it was "being an endless source of frustration to (Damian's) father".

Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Trained by the League of Assassins, Talia al Ghul and Batman; Damian may not be physically tough but he knows how to control his weight and has stated that he knows, "one thousand ways to kill a man." Damian's training has made him a formidable hand-to-hand combatant able to defeat or hold his own against multiple opponents, armed opponents or skilled hand-to-hand combatants.

Martial Arts: Trained by the League of Assassins, Damian has stated he knows just as many martial arts as Batman and can use them more effectively. This may be a largely overstated comment but one shouldn't ask for verification.

Mimicry: Damian can imitate anyone's voice and speech patterns perfectly as he imitated Tim Drake's voice in order to gain access to a chamber only Tim was allowed into.

Stealth: Damian was able to sneak into Gotham City and furthermore into the Batcave virtually undetected until he felt necessary. Of all the Robins, Damian may be the one that is the most silent.

Swordsmanship: Damian assaulted both Tim Drake and Bruce Wayne on separate occasions with his sword, apparently the same sword used by Ra's al Ghul. Although Damian may be unmatched with a sword if armed correctly.

Throwing: Damian is trained by the League of Assassins in shuriken throwing and further trained by Batman in Batarang throwing.

Equipment: Damian is currently wearing a more armored version of his tradition Robin costume. This version has been updated and was in the prototype stage before the League went under attack. Damian decided there was no better time to field test the armor. Advancements include retractable glider wings concealed in the back armor plates, as well as a shuriken/batarang launched built into the wrist of the gauntlet. In addition to this the armor also sported jet assisted flight but this feature was damaged recently. His cape also acts as a parachute should his wings fail him, as well the cape is resistant to gunfire and knives but will only hold out for so long. More or less it acts as a distraction to throw the shooter's aim off. Though like his father, Damian will use the cape as a weapon to suffocate larger foes.

Damian also employs a utility belt along with his personal sword and dagger. His utility belt contains the following:

In addition to this, Damian carries his katana-like sword and a long curved dagger. He has been trained extensively to use these efficiently for offense but without causing lethal harm.

Superpowers:

Weaknesses:

Headstrong: Although this weakness may be to lowered impulse control in a boy of his age; Damian is by far the most headstrong and reckless Robin under Batman's tutelage. He rivals Jason's anger, Dick's childishness, Tim's overconfidence and Steph's impulsiveness.

Nervous System Control: Talia al Ghul allowed her son to become Robin with the intention of creating the greatest warrior known to man under her complete control. Realizing that her motherly instinct would not be enough to control Damian she implanted devices into his spinal cord as a fail-safe if he would ever betray her. These implants control Damian's entire motor system.
