Well Howdy! Are you a fan of rainbows and sunshine, the sweet smell of an ocean’s breeze, and a carefree afternoon in the sun?

Well, if you are-..’Gold, Sweat, and Blood’ may not be the role-play for you! However, if you’re more interested in a dark, gritty fantasy role-play where the ‘good’ are as corrupt as the ‘bad’ and the constant struggle between the powerful is paid for in the blood of the innocent, then this just might be your role-play Utopia!

The Road to Revolution is paved in three things: Gold, Sweat, and Blood. The sides of good and evil all depend exactly on which side you are on, the powerful King Zarr’s, or the peasants headed by an unsatisfied noble-class. Shall you fight for a days bread, or the slow construct of better days on the back-breaking work of the poor. No one ever intends to be evil, what is one man’s death if it allows another hundred to prosper? Such is the view of King Zarr, the Usurper, coming back from exile and leading a revolution to overthrow the old monarchy, placing the crown upon his head. He strives to make the nation large and powerful, and if a few men must die in the process, so be it.

The people see it a different way, he returned to their country as a rebel, and a hero, and now, many believe him to be a tyrant, even worse then the last one. They fight to replace him with another ruler...their cause small and weak now, but with the slightest spark, the flames of rebellion could spread throughout the nation. Should Venn be consumed in its own fire, or shall it be squelched? You decide, and help make an advanced and complex plot-line to engulf all of our creativities!

We’re very lenient on race and history, as long as it fits are basic lore. Private message myself or MohawkYeah for any questions or concerns. Basic information

Thread Title: Gold, Sweat, and Blood.

Role-play theme: Dark, Gritty Fantasy revolving about a single nation or area. Little advancement in gun-powder, basic cannons, but nothing else. There will be themes of hardship and war, as well as political and social interactions.
