I take interest in your plot addition. The reason they move constantly is due to the large bounty of whoever can find the princess's "kidnapper." As the king and queen assume is what happened.

This sounds good.

The Street rat's history- well you can run wild with it haha. It could be, he owes some criminal money to he ha a bounty over his head himself for all I know.

What age group did you want for this? I don't really have a preference for age.

Also, is this a medieval knights style setting? I assume such, but I didn't know if you wanted to get creative haha and Create some new intricate style.

That would be alright, I don't know whether or not you want to include magic in this. Even if it is included, I won't be giving my character access to it.

Magic can be used either in a sort of high fantasy setting where lots of people have access to it and it takes the form of fire balls, lightning, etc. Or it can be a low-fantasy setting where only a select few can even begin to understand its mysteries and it usually doesn't have a physical effect on the world, it comes in the forms of prophecy and possibly some sort of minor enchantment (like on an amulet).

Those are basically our options if we choose to include magic. My preference is toward the low setting, maybe the princess has some kind of amulet that warns of danger?

And I do agree on the low magic setting. Having people know magic doesn't seem to quite fit well.
The amulet idea sounds interesting. But I'll say, she doesn't have it at first. That'll be apart of the journey.
