The first summoning for each minion involves an out-of-body experience during which the Summoner reaches out to another realm and has to win a mental battle against the spirit they wish to control. Attempting to control a spirit that is too powerful can have very dangerous consequences, which is why most Summoners begin with simple creatures like bats and common imps. I would put up a reply now that four people have replied (I'm assuming the other two aren't going to anytime soon), but it's a little late for me and I need to get to sleep. It'll be up some time tomorrow afternoon though, I promise.
Looking forward to it. I'm really enjoying this so far. Haha.
