Dark Souls: Age of Kindlers

The Undead bells have rang but long ago. There has been a new Age of Fire, named the Age of Kindlers, because of the new rage - to
make a bonfire. One can kindle a bonfire by taking a greatsword, infusing it with holy magic, then to shove the sword into a pile of
flammable material and setting it ablaze. There are now colonies of Undead that have made life better by huddling themselves around
bonfires to keep warm and repel Hollows. The covenants have shifted into three major clans:

Blades of Fury clan-

This is the clan of non-magic users that prefer hard, steely weapons rather than faith-consuming spells. This clan specializes in
strength and dexterity to wield large blades.

Holy Guard -

This clan holds priests and priestesses who wield small swords and maces, while focusing more on Faith and miracles to be cast from
that faith.

Flames of Lordran's Past-

Those who have claimed to descend from either Lord Gwyn or the Witch of Izalith. These clan members are very intelligent, using
sorceries and pyromancies.

Then, there is us:

The Kindlers.

Cecelia (my character) has been searching all over the land for more to join her cause of uniting the clans and turning Lordran to her
former glory with a rag-tag group of Undead that have decided to leave his or her guild. Cecelia is a pyromancer with a knack for
using the Black Knight's Sword she got from a friend before Lordran turned into the Hollow paradise it is now.
Now, we need a blacksmith, so that will be the first goal. The characters joined will start as in one of the three other clans
(blades, guard, or flames) and will somehow be pushed, forced, or have wanted to leave his or her clan, this is how we meet.

Gender: female

Age: 2031 (Died at age 31 and undead for 2000 years)

Appearance:


Clan: Wanderer

Weapon of choice: Greatsword+10. Made from pure silver. Very rare to find, so it was hard to make
and took a long time.

Sheild description: Thin, long sheild, meant more for deflection. Average physical defence and
provides oddly high magical resistance, but not as much as physical. Provides decent lightning and
fire resistances.

Armor description: Shown in apearance.

Psycho-analasys: Cecelia is a cautious woman who covers everything she can in plans. The plans can
be flexible, but she tries to stick to it as much as possible. Cecelia is also very perspective
and almost has a sixth sense for danger, in this world.

Background: Cecelia has been wandering since before the new clans emerged. She has been everywhere
from Blighttown to the Undead Parish to Firelink Shrine more times than she cares to count. This
has made everything familiar, except for some lands beyond the Parish, lands made by hand over
the centuries, hidden from normal undead. Who knows? Maybe Cecelia finally gets to venture forth
to new parts of Lordran.

Name: Jardo Valiant

Gender: Male

Age: Alive since Ancient Times, potentially semi-immortal

Appearance:


Clan: Clanless, Formerly of Gwyn, Lord of Sun's Knight Gaurd

Weapon of choice: Black Knight Halbred +5 with Black Knight Shield +5

Shield description: Standard Black Knight material, a blackened ancient steel, with the crest of Lord Gwyn emblazoned across it. Originally it was made of a mithiril silver like material. But since he and many other knights followed Gwyn into the Kiln so many centuries ago and was burned by the embers down there the steel has turned a black and could never be cleaned.

Armor description: As seen in picture

Psycho-analysis: A very aloof attitude, believing himself one of the last of his kind and unwilling to trust easily. Centuries of journeying pretty much on his own, except for awhile just after Gwyn going to the Kiln of the First Flame, has left him with anger issues, being very easy to go into rages. In battle he is like a slow moving tank, the incredible reach of his halberd and the high defense of his shield makes him incredibly confident. Extremely intolerant of Undead that are in a Hollow form, seeing them as something impure and worthy only of a painful death. Those Undead who fight to keep their humanity though he treats with utmost respect and praise.

Background:

Like many of Gwyn's Knights from Ancient Times, Jard can remember a great deal of times from long ago. The battles with the Eternal Dragons, the forming of Anor Londo, New Londo and beyond. And like the other knights Jard was always loyal to no other but Gwyn. Incredibly so in fact. When the Age of Flame began to wane, and Gwyn started to plan to head to the Kiln, Jard awaited word from his commanders to make the march. But when Gwyn left the ranks of the knights split. Some stayed behind believing that their duty lay in defending Anor Londo. While others like Jard believed they should march with Gwyn.

When Gwyn left Jard went with him, as did half the ranks of the knights. But this would be their downfall. As Gwyn entered the kiln and the fires relit, the entire compliment of knights with Gwyn were burned by the embers of the first flame. Their armor burned black, and without their lord to direct them they split apart slowly.

Jard and a small group of knights went to the area that would later become the undead burg. And there they remained for centuries on end. Defending one of the areas to lead down to their lord. After some time and Jard saw less of his companions, Jard decided to start travelling. He was in Oolacile for a time, but not long enough to see it's fall to the Abyss. He also traveled to Carim and Balder for a time. And had a chance to meet Iron Tarkus in the famous knights youth. Eventually he returned to Lordan.

By this time the bells had been rung who knows how many years ago. But he did not care, for upon his return he learned that Gwyn had finally and truly fallen in battle. Jard no longer had a purpose and began to roam, growing intolerant of undead who cannot control their humanity and choose to remain in their Hollow state. An Undead who chooses to try and keep their humanity he treats like a lord with kindness and praise.

Age: 1532 (Became undead at the age of 35)

Appearance:

Clan: Blades

Weapon of choice: Falchion +5 This sword has been passed down through his family. Has a longbow if necessary.

Shield description: An Iron Round Shield he was awarded with in the Blades clan.

Psycho-analysis: Very calm. He is a warrior of honor and loves battle.

Background: Cyrus came from the east looking for other warriors to face. He met a warrior from the Blades clan, the two of them dueled and the man beat Cyrus. The man was impressed by Cyrus's combat skills and asked him to join his clan. Cyrus eagerly accepted. A clan that battles for a living? That is exactly what Cyrus wanted. Over time, Cyrus has become more adept at the art of combat.

Other: He doesn't despise magic, but he would rather fight someone steel-to-steel.

BigPapa: Well, I was hesitant when I saw it was a black knight, but the background gave you the leverage.

Rinn: That's fine. Happened to me when I was re-making my cs.

Also, (as a general mental note), It'd be nice if there was someone in the gang who was "newly undead". I think that would make a nice balance of knowledge/wisdom. Nobody has to redo their cs, just kinda hoping someone else will come along.
