What once was lost.... (Midieval Fantasy-Joining Open)

So, I don't mind who joins, but please read before joining in and limit to 5 please.

The land had recently been ravaged by a small group of young dragons.. the forest was nearly completely destroyed by fire. The two villages near the forest (one on the east and the other on the south) were gone. Who survived had gathered near the river to the south, going into the hill country. There was not many. Two of the five yound dragons had been killed, the other three had returned to the high mountains in the far north. Rumors were that there were relics in the villages that the dragons were seeking. It was uncertain if they had achieved their goal.

To the east, beyond the village, long down the trade roads... was another forest.. a wet forest near the marsh. It was here that the child found herself. It was here that the run away pony had taken the girl.. and here that it collapsed and left her. She had recovered and moved away from the road, though she knew the road would lead to people, she knew the darkness that was falling would not keep her safe. All she knew was that she must hide. She tried to keep the road within view, but after some walking had found herself quite lost. All she had was the few glowbugs she'd caught and kept in an empty bottle. It didn't help her see.. but it gave her comfort. It was a hollowed tree, long dead from the wet grounds, that she had found for shelter. It took a few minutes to clear out the old critter nest, and leaves..and bugs.. but it would do for tonight. She hunkered down inside and kept her bottle close, the faint glow of the bugs offering minimal comfort.

I can't help you there. Depends on where the RP goes. I can't 'lead' you toward things. I'm not good at 'dungeon mastering', closest way I can compare it.
