Go on with our lives and lose those things behind.
Wrapped around in lies, we stand there voiceless.
We want to leave our lives, until we find a way.
Searching for the light for eternity.

The day was an ordinary one. The skies were remarkably clear after a large storm the day before, and the air smelled of rain. Sesshomaru was somewhat fond of the scent. It was a much more likable smell than the awful yet attractive stench of blood. The demon stood standing on the large hill near the lake, enjoying the peacefulness of the morning. Rin and Jaken were still asleep under the nearby tree, and he enjoyed the quiet. The constant bickering between the two was becoming a nuisance lately.
"Oi, Sesshomaru," a female voice called out. He wasn't startled; he could smell her a mile away. This woman, or demon, had masked her scent, thinking she could sneak up on him, but simple things like that obviously could never work on a demon like him. Fool.
He slowly turned to face her, not in any hurry. The demon of which had ruined his quiet morning stood at average height, with long dark hair falling to her ankles. Her eyes were large and violet, and her face was almost innocent. Almost. "What be so important as to approach me so shamelessly?" he questioned, golden eyes staring her down. Although she was average height for a woman, the tall youkai was almost twice her size.
The woman reached into her kimono and pulled put a glowing orb. Sesshomaru, undeniably curious, stared into it. She spoke, "Sesshomaru, Lord of the western lands, look into my orb. It holds a special future for you." Her voice mumbled. Her voice was beautiful, captivating even. Sesshomaru knew this was a trap, but he couldn't get his eyes to move from the orb once they were on it. "Kami wa, kono jaakuna tamashī o toru to, sore o tsuihō suru. Tōi sekai ni sore o tsuihō suru. Gods, take this wicked soul and banish it. Banish it to a distant world."
Sesshomaru vanished.
