Imagine sand everywhere... And not just for a couple hundreds of kilometers, but everywhere, an entire planet...
Cities, farms all don't exist anymore since the calamity. The few resources that are left are being fought over by different tribes. Before the calamity each race lived peacefully together. Dwarf, elf, human, gnome, orc and troll.
But living together was not possible anymore... The survivors teamed up with their own race, and tribes began to form. The tribes lived from the few stock they had and the oasis they found. A tribe could never stay on one place too long, since the resources would run out. A nomad living... Sometimes one of the old cities would be uncovered and thus be available for scavenging. But that was their life.

Days became months and months became years... Nothing changed. The sand remained sand and the resources remained few. But new dangers have arisen throughout the years. The calamity brought new species into existence which meant trouble for the tribes. Many fell for the perils... but the tribes adapted to the dangers and learned to overcome them.
This is a tale about one tribe in particular. This tribe is different then the rest. Why? It's a tribe for outcasts. You'll find all races in this tribe who live, more or less, together. We will follow five lives in this camp. Why? Will they change the world? Who knows...

You said specifically and in bold that there would be five players in the RP. Yet now you act as if there are no limits. Are you just saying that there doesn't need to be one of each, but rather there can be any number in each race, as long as there are only five characters? Just asking for clarification.

That said, I might join. But don't mark me down as definite yet.

Alright, that's sort of what I was thinking, but thanks for the clarification. Just wanted to make sure we were on the same page.

If all five players were of the same race, would they not be situated with their own tribe? A multiple race tribe would work best.

With an Orc already requested I will request the Elf.

Everyone in that camp is an outcast, thrown out by their first tribe. In the beginning, all (for example) orcs will stay together, since they are used to their own race. In time, they will have to make contact with the other races. I have no idea where I'm going with this tbh... Oh well.

In any case, we now have an Orc and an Elf in our small band of tribesmen, Or women...women are cool too. :P
