Roy strolled next to his companion silently, a small smile forming on his lips. Akane was quite the amusing one and he was the main one that kept their travels exciting, even in the pouring rain; Roy was the more quiet of the two that only spoke when it was completely necessary. Like now. "A bag of Sour Patch Kids sounds nice along with a thing of Sprite." The half angel said with a small smile and slide his hand into his pocket, feeling around for the money in pocket. "I have enough to get us both something, but you'll have to pay for the motel that we'll be bunking in tonight." He added with a soft laugh which could barely be heard over the loud pattering of rain around them as he practically said that Akane would be paying for something that cost a lot more that a few snacks.
Before the half demon could object to his proclamation, Roy hurried over to the miniture building but, as he stepped inside, he instantly picked up on the eerie silence and the dark tension in the air, one that made him shiver involuntarily. When Akane walked in, he held out his arm to stop him from walking in further. "You feel that too, right?" Roy whispered quietly to him and his other hand slowly reached down to grab one of his daggers from his belt. He honestly didn't feel like dealing with demons today but, that was his job and he was very dedicated to it.
