I don't think The Pacific was very well-written...and it had more sex scenes than battle scenes. That's not always a bad thing, but The Pacific is supposed to be about combat in WWII, not some Hollywood romance crap.Originally Posted by Trooper

The Pacific was a boring, pathetic attempt to be like Band of Brothers in every way but be Band of-fucking-Brothers.

I would also suggest Stalingrad. It's in German but it's damn action packed.
