On the continent of
Muladhara, the Priestesses run amok preparing and decorating the city for the upcoming
Festival of the Serpent of Light. Thousands of beggars, farmers, nobles, wisemen, initiates and spiritually-seeking pilgrims will begin their 7-Day Pilgrimage in Muladhara. The Festival of the Serpent of Light takes place every 616 years and initiates, from the 7 continents and 7 corners of the world, will test their mind, body and soul on this most hallowed of voyages. The Sacred Pilgrimage has, since time immemorial, provided relief and answers to truth seekers. Although the 7-Day Pilgrimage has occurred many times throughout history, its practices and requirements are shrouded in mystery and locked with esoteric knowledge. The Priestesses who command the ceremony leading to the Festival are sworn to secrecy under penalty of death and Excommunication from the governing philosophy of Muladhara. These Priestesses, armed with Arcane knowledge and powerful magick, lead initiates through Day 1 of the Festival. Pilgrims, often referred to as Geomancers, are required to fast for the entire week, to avoid 100% of negative emotions (anger, envy, prejudice, etc.) while simultaneously learning the mantras, magicks and secrets of each of the 7 continents.
A group of 5 spiritual ascetics has settled into their designated chambers in a small, but highly ornate stone tavern. At the break of first sunrise, the 5 will begin their spiritual conquest over the forces of good and evil at the Temple of Atma. Therein, they will learn the knowledge necessary to overcome the trials and tribulations of the 7 continents, all in the aspiration of reaching Nirvana.
