Starfighter Squadron

I was trying to find a game dedicated to a squad of starfighter pilots, which has been harder than I thought. Looks like the sci-fi RPs are based more on a crew of a Firefly class ship. I'm hoping to get a squad (4-6 players, including myself) as the hotshot elite pilots of a military fleet. Time in the RP would initially be shared between the cruiser and then dogfights in our fighters. Then eventually we could travel back to base and/or the homeworld. I've just been craving some space dogfights, but don't want to be constantly doing it.

I was hoping to not have to GM this, so if you know of an RP or someone interested in GMing one like this then I'd be very happy to be hooked up with them. Otherwise...I could GM it if I get serious interest for it. We'd go over the details about the setting in the OOC. I'm thinking a future Earth with Terra formed colonies and as we stretch through the galaxy, we'd eventually run into some hostile alien species.

Lol so I guess you two are in...yeah I think I'm going to have to set this up, like I said I didn't see any that focused on fighter squadron. I'll be calling it a night soon, but if we get another interested party tomorrow then I'll go ahead and set up an OOC when I get off work.

Sort of wish I'd seen this sooner. I wouldn't have minded running a more fighter-centric plot in my original sci-fi universe if there was enough interest.

Never seen Battlestar, though I know its something I definitely missed out on.

Holey, sent you a PM. If you can save me the trouble of creating another RP (which I always take seriously and put a lot of effort in) then I'd be happy to swing over and maybe bring a couple of these fine players and join the ranks of the Vengeance.

There was a film called "The Last Starfighter" a long time ago. Low budget, and pretty silly, but a cult classic. Part of me was hoping you were using the setting from that.
