Maxos Chronicles Story Idea - Who's Interested?

Hey guys! Thanks for checking out my thread. Okay, so I had the most amazing idea for a fantasy/sci-fi story, and I've already written out the first novel installment of the series. I figured I ought to post it here to see if it would work out as a role play too. If this works out, it will be an adventure of epic proportions, and none of you should be disappointed with my story.

Here are some of the details of the story I thought I needed to highlight.

First of all, I think I should describe the backstory for the world. When I wrote the story, I designed a world similar to Earth, named Pondus. The only difference in this world, though, is that early on, when civilizations were first beginning to develop, a large meteorite struck the planet. This sent the whole planet into a wild spin, and it came out as a sort of elliptical shape. Because of this, the gravity became much stronger on the planet's poles, and weaker near the equator.

Because Pondus had highly varying gravitational regions, the people were adversely affected. The people that lived near the poles lived in stronger gravity, and so they became shorter and stronger, and they were called dwarves. The people on the equator lived in lighter gravity, so they became taller and faster, and they were called elves. The people's everywhere between weren't affected, and were called men. The three races developed, and three separate kingdoms emerged.

After the meteorite, named the Rock, struck the planet, the ancients of each race decided to use it's strange metallic substance to build an army of mechanical warriors. Long story short, the machines, deemed Andros by their creators, developed a will of their own, and a revolt ensued. A war led afterward between the peoples of Pondus and the Andros. Eventually, the Andros were defeated, and peace returned to Pondus.

This story opens years after the first Andros war, shortly before the Andros launch an entirely new invasion. (don't tell the characters that though) My goal for the story is to assemble a small team of player "heroes" that will go on adventures to help fight off the new invasion.

What do you guys think of the general idea? I have more plot twists in store that I can't wait to surprise some of you with, but I need to know I can get players for the game before I post it. Let me know!

That was my primary aim. Also, a lot of the problems the team will face will be more involved with the world they live in. Climates, animals and gravitational cycles are all altered due to the planet's longevity. It'll be a promising adventure, and a really good story behind it.
