    Finished Dishonored...

I find myself drawing comparisons with Rage. A similar game in terms of developer and publisher. That game rushed the ending and finished just for the sake of finishing too. (or so we had to buy DLC to feel satisfied with it) Having come to the close of Dishonored and feeling a little cheated by the unfulfilling climax, can anybody shed some light on what i've just seen?

    Spoiler

I don't know whether it's just me being too skillful at the game. but i was a little disappoint with the ending. It should have gone out with a bang, not a whimper D:

Flooded District pissed me off. Apparently a group of rats at some point found a knocked out guard I left behind and ate him. ruined my No Deaths achievement.

Also, Havelock poisoned the both of them because he wanted to hold all of the power of Dunwall in his hands. Then he was just monologuing because he knew you were going to kill his ass.

The final mission was a disappointment, to be sure, but it wasn't as bad as Rage. Rage brought out a sequel ending abruptly out of nowhere. At least Dishonored tied their's up.

That happened to me too! After that i always stashed the bodies in high places!

I suppose that makes sense. I was just shocked at the lack of guards surrounding him. I thought i was going to have to get through some honor guards...rabid dogs or something. Anything!

Yeah, they tied it up okay but i was hoping for a cutscene of Emily being inaugerated or some such. Instead the Outsider took over and showed us a boring still of various people i didn't know.

Oh was that what the DLC was? A second ending? May have to look into it. Any good?

I dunno about any endings >_>

for Rage? No, Rage's ending was made that way to lead to a sequel, which is in the works.

Oh i see, they didn't do a mass effect then? Shame. I hate it when they set up a sequel in such a blatant way.
