Major Arcana; The Call.

the idea behind it came from tarrot cards, as well as several other sets of myths, fantasy novells and such, but, the core idea still revolves round the cards.
I will not be useing the full tarrot deck, mearly the Majour Arcana, otherwise the power rules and systems will become far, far to complex.
so here's the idea, a secreat organization run by a unknown benefactor and leader has been formed over 10,000 years ago. it is used to protect humanity from that which it cannot abide.
the Supernatural, now, this isn't Ailens, or the bogeyman, or the creature under your bed. No, these supernatural creatures are the pure wrongness infesting humanaties minds.
they are nightmares leaked in to the world, they are creatures of which hatred is formed. there is however a thin 'mist' protecting humans, stopping them seeing, feeling, interacting with them.
there are however humans that can puncture the mist, pshycics, mediums and other such practitioners of the arcane arts. most often they are harmless.
on occation one will push the mist to far, and it will rip, allowing the creatures of darkness through to rend and tear at humanity, that is where this organization comes in.
they step forward and forgo their humanity to give the rest of the world to have a chance. well not really 'step forward' the are asked to give it up.


the idea is that several kids/teenagers (from 14 through to 19) are greeted by a unusal caricture one lunch time, and he explains to them that they have been chosen.
he then spreads the tarrot cards before them, asking them to chose one each, However, before they do, he puts one finger on the Fool. it burns to dust, "that is my card"
is all he gives in way of explination. he then puts a finger on death and that to burns. "you will all have that card in time." clearly there are greater rules than expected.
once each has chosen a card, he asks them to select a part of themselves to 'bond' the card with, this part of themselves will no longer be 'human' but something else alltoghether.
they lose their 'humanity' on that part of themselves, however are rewarded with powers to protect humanity, powers depend on the card chosen, the body part selected, and the person.
each is then taken in turn to the organization's headquaters, and the training begins.


things however seem ammiss, if the powers remove their humanity, are the not no better than those they fight? who leads the organization? what is the cost? why can they now see the mist?
the questions are endless, and the answers do not seem forthcomeing....

Abilites; He can Manipulate the elements outside his body, However he is only in control of the direction and intentions, not what it is acutally formed of, he also cannot command living creatures, nor nature. nor can he command anything in/on his body, it is all external.
EG; he wishes to cut some rope. so he concentrates and imagens the rope snapping, the rope freezes then shatters. in another situation he will imagen the same thing, however this time a blade of air slashes the rope apart. the rope is still cut, just in different ways.


Yes you can have 'Meta' body parts however you must be able to survive without them, so you cannot chose sanity, or your emotions ect.
