Welcome to Doom Burger.
"He sounds like he's doing okay," Orren said as he jerked a thumb towards the bathroom door down the hall. "Do you think these will fit him?" He set the clothes on the counter and held the shirt up to show it to her. It was the biggest one he had. It was certainly fit Dylan with room to spare, given his lanky form, but he may or may not have a midrift showing.
Persephone set the kitten back downon the counter beside the clothes. Lucy sniffed the clothes and moved to stretch out and pull her claws against the fabric, but Per caught her and pushed her away. She barely glanced at Orren as he held up the shirt, simply nodding at him and rubbing between the kitten's ears.
After a few moments of rather awkward silence between the old friends, Per shirted around and searched for something to say to get rid of the heavy quiet seaparating and pushing down on them. "Uh, do you know you wanna try that funhouse again? Did you come up with a better plan yet?"
