Lily was surrounded by flame. She wasn't invincible, so she had to be careful and quick. All around her parts of the building were collapsing. She had to hurry, the building surely would collapse soon. She ran forward out of the room she was in into a hallway, being careful to avoid the flames. She was alerted by her sixth sense to a beam overhead that was about to fall, and dived forward, barely missing being crushed by it. She needed to hurry and find anyone still inside. There were several rooms running along the hallway, each one most likely the room of an orphan. She had to check all of them and quickly. She ran down the hallway, opening each door and checking if anyone was inside. She couldn't dally, she was already coughing due to the smoke. About halfway down, she found a child trapped inside a room. He was trapped behind fallen beam, and was screaming for her to help him. She quickly ran over and pulled off the large piece of wood- it was easy because of her immense strength. She scooped up the child, throwing him over her shoulder. She ran back down the hallway, and went to the window she had entered through. She flew down to the ground, and handed the child over to the firemen- she needed to get back inside, there still could be others. She flew back in and continued her search through the rooms, nearing the last one. As she opened the final door, she found a small girl, trapped beneath a burning piece of the roof. She hurried over- the child was in great danger, and was already being engulfed by the flames. Lily could hear her cries. She attempted to pick up the large piece of roofing, but couldn't, her hands becoming burned by the heat. She tried again, thing time resolute in moving the debris. Despite great pain, she managed to overturn it. She could now see the girl clearly- she was badly burned, and her face was indistinguishable due to the damage. She was to late- the girl was alive, but only barely. Lily scooped the girl up, and ran for the window- she barely made it out before the flames engulfed the room. She flew right past the firemen- the girl needed immediate attention, and she could get to the hospital a lot faster than an ambulance.

"Looks like she got them all. Phooey," Lupo said with a sigh ",Oh well it was an entertaining show to watch at least." He spun around walking into the shadows of the alleyway again bored and hungering for chaos once more. His mind clicked away at new schemes and plans as he walked once more through the shadows of the city, what trouble he could cause. How he could twist the heroes will and morals to make them squirm and could do nothing to stop him. Something to make this city see that these heroes were worthless to fight against him.

Farren found herself almost falling asleep listening to the scanner. She finalyl just drove home and snuck back into her bedroom. She took a quick shower, getting the dye out of her hair so it was blonde once more. She changed into some comfortable pajamas and slipped into bed, the events of the evening still fresh in her mind as she realized her journey as a superhero was just beginning. It was a bit scary, but she believed it would be worth it. Soon, she drifted into a deep sleep.
