Depending on what birth control a woman is on she could have little to nothing given off during a period so I wouldn't be surprised if it just stayed there. Although I don't think it's any big concern. They would just be tiny cells, I doubt they would have grown at all.

It might sound crazy but it does sound plausible to me, albeit really creepy and lacking citation.

Edit: Misread when they said "fetuses." Okay yeah that part is definitely wrong, although I would believe it if it were dead eggs.

The hormone fucking you're talking about is what I'm talking about. It doesn't halt ovulation but what it does is make it so the uterine lining doesn't form a proper place for the egg to grow.

Actually, it all depends on the birthcontrol. Read the drug information of what you were prescribed. Some work differently than others. Mine? It prevents the egg from coming out and on my inactive pill days are more like spotting when not taking the pill correctly. I personally would rather be on something else given my high risk for ovarian cancer, but eh, not looking for any more kids at the moment.

Women on birth control still menstruate. Isn't this, like, completely wrong?

I figured some work differently, but my point was that some do work in a way that would make this possible. Also, from what I've been told the pill I'm on actually decreases the risk of ovarian cancer, that differs per pill as well? Why don't you switch if you dislike/are worried about the pill?
