This is just a nonsense religious conflict so both sides are pretty guilty. However, I do tend to take Palestine's side since they're fighting against occupation too. Israel has some racist policies, plain and simple. I have talked to actual Palestinian refugees who have friends and family that can't even leave because Israel essentially bars them in.

Also, lately Netanyahu has been quite the warmonger. He's trying to find any excuse he can to launch assaults on Palestine and Iran. It's not fair at all when Hamas launches a few rockets and then Israel responds with a full scale airstrike. That is excessive force and is wrong.

It is actually not a religious conflict as much as a cultural one. Palestinians are a completely separate people currently occupied by Israelis who are wiping out the Palestinian people and forcing them into smaller and smaller areas while regularly demolishing Palestinian neighborhoods. It is much akin to the United States and the Native Americans on a smaller scale.

There is considerate losses on both sides, but at the moment it's the Palestinians who are suffering the worse.

This is actually very true, non-orthodox and non-jewish people are leaving Israel in significant numbers due to the government increasingly favoring the orthodox jewish faith and becoming increasingly militant.

It's not entirely religious, no. However, religion plays a role since the zionists think they have a right to that land essentially because "God said so". Of course there's nationalism too, of which both sides reek of.
