Echidna: amature RPG-er

Hello!

I'm Echidna. Although my name indicates otherwise I am a human being, not a spikey ant eating mammal. I hail from Ontario, Canada but was born in British Columbia. I'm on my way to becoming a proffesional pastry chef and hope to open my own bakery some day.

I've been role-playing on and off for the last couple years. D&D 3.5 was my first RPG but I've also tried D&D 4E and Exalted (my favorite so far). My copy of the main GURPS books is on the way and I can't wait to start an origonal campaign of my own (at some point far down the line). I'[m open to trying any gaming system and I'm sure the more I try the more my local game store will like me. :P I also play MTG (Modern & Older), Warhammer 40K (Necrons ftw), and any tabletop board/card game I can get my hands on. I'm also a Who-vian (Dr. Who), a Potter Nerd (Harry Potter), a Nerdfighter (Vlog Brothers on Youtube), an all around book lover, and many more.

As for universes, as long as it's interesting I'll like it. Fantasy to science fiction to historical, or any mix! I'm ready to dive in!

Hey there, echidna, welcome to the Guild! I am sure you will find plenty of RPs to enjoy here, though I think you will find the majority here do not use systems. What we tend to do here is more like collaborative story telling than traditional table top RP (of which I am a fan). What part? My summers are usually spent on Hornby Island, which is just off the coast of Vancouver Island. Have you heard of it? No one on this half of the country has. You should check it out in the summer if you haven't! It gets a bit hectic but it's a beautiful place.
