Name:Fin Dragard
Looks:Fin is a average young man of slender build, He is a bit taller then most and thinner then the rest. He wears the same old uniform has everyone else up top but in the tunnels he is free to wear creative clothes of his own design, full of pockets and satchels that give him plenty of room to store the things he comes across in his travels.
Age: 17
Rank: Fin is considered to be of the working class up top, he fancies building and tinkering and just so happens to live in the craftsman town where he builds various objects for the other villages. His work is mundane and there is no encouragement to be creative, the only excitement he finds is when he happens to get lucky enough to be assigned a job for the Royals. His last assignment was a mirror that could be turned and rotated, sadly that was one of his favorite jobs up top.
But down below he is free, free to roam and explore, free to build and create whatever his heart desires. Fin spends much time watching the other skilled tradesman to learn all he can of the trades, fortunately he is a quick study, or else he would never be able to quench his insatiable hunger for knowledge. He likes to adventure out into the wilds to gather strange herbs and rocks so he likes to consider himself an adventurer... or Craftsman, no engineer! He really hasn't decided on his proper title, it doesn't really matter because no one particularly cares down there, and that's the way he likes it.
Weapon of choice: Fin is no warrior and hasnt spent the time to learn any useful skill in combat, aside from a sling which he has used since he was a boy playing in the alleys up top. He should have known then that he was different. However Fin knows that a war is coming and has devoted some time to weapon making. His time spent studying minerals and herbs has allowed him to create a few special contraptions he calls... well, he doesnt have a name for them yet, but they are very useful! He uses a special mixture that he pours in small glass vials that do various things when thrown. So far he has been able to make some erupt in a cloud of smoke, one made a particular stinky gas, and his favorite yet even exploded! Sadly the last two did not help his impression on the people and he spent a few days rebuilding walls and mopping up vomit.
Personality: Fin is a excruciatingly curious boy, a habit that has miraculously not yet landed him in jail or worse up top. Actually a man in age Fin has a youthful curiosity masked by a little too much innocence for people not to look at him has a younger brother or son. He loves to ask questions and try to follow the huntresses out into the wilds, even earning a mild friendship with a few. He is well loved among the people, who cant help but look at him has a trouble maker. He never means any harm though, honest!
Bio: Fin Dragard, has his mother named him was born into the 7th city. A city of builders who lived decently enough, able to make for themselves what wasnt supplied. His father was killed when he was a small boy by a thief, after growing up in the suffocating city he couldnt hold a grudge against the man, he was simply looking for a way out, a way to be different. That has to be a flaw in the young man, he is unceasingly kind and forgiving. He sees the world through a blindfold of innocence that no one can muster up the courage to remove. Unfortunately, his mother died when he was 14 of a lung infection. Those were hard times for the teenaged Fin and they could have soured him right up if he hadn't found the underground when he did. Alone one night a few months after his mother died he was out wandering the streets, as he often did trying to figure out his lot in life. Most people tend to do these things, you know, try to understand, but Fin was different, he didnt want to bury himself in a drink or a woman's bosom. Yes maybe he was too young for that, or rather too innocent, but that is the way he his and nothing will change that. Anyways the young boy was out wondering the streets when he happened upon a old rusted grate nestled into an alcove just a ways off the street, it was slightly open and that was all Fin needed to dive in.
When he emerged, hunched, from the small tunnel leading away from the grate he found something magical, a world hidden in plain sight. It was a whole new world filled with people just like him, people that were different, that asked questions. The people down below took him in has their own and helped raise him, replacing the family he no longer had. It didn't take Fin long to find his place in the growing city, everyone needed a special tool or sometimes, more often then not, something they didn't know they needed until Fin showed up with it. He eventually had enough coin saved up to have his own little hole in the wall. He preferred to stay at a friend's or mentor's home so he was free to move and explore, but eventually he needed a place to store up all his tools and contraptions. And so here he is at the bright age of 17 with his own little shop and a network of friends. He spends much of his time down below but he still maintains a presence up above to get a hold of various parts he finds to bothersome to make, or hard to find.
Extra: I think I have said all that there is to say about this young adventurer, but his story has yet to be written so we will see where it ends.
