Yesh, another pokémon roleplay.

Hello, young and not so young pokémon trainers! No, I'm not Oak, I just look very like him. My name is Kao, I'm a pokémon researcher. Nothing wrong with that. Now, let me tell you, I'm sure that when you were a damned kid, your parents would read stories that made you shiver while your desire to become a pokémon trainer would become more and more intense - and boom, here are you, staring at me expectantly, hardly managing to wait until I'm done with this needless lecture. Too bad, you will have to wait patiently as I explain certain things... Starting with the amazing world outside. Yes, it's beautiful and all, but it's not as peaceful as you'd think. With each passing day, criminal organizations grow in numbers and the Police Force of Selveren. Yes, that's right, a place you've never seen in your entire life! Wait, theres something to it. It happened some years ago, and no one can explain it... I bet because theres no reason to explain it. All of the pokémon regions across the world were merged and compressed, forming into a huge Continent with hundreds of cities. You can be from anywhere you like, but as soon as you decided "I will be a pokémon trainer!" and either paid it yourself, or your parents - who spoil you too much - paid the small fee, the famed League of Champions would cover any sort of pokédollar you'd need in order to get here, where you are, the Pokémon Elite Hall. It's extensive, and theres hundred of trainers there, they're all listening to me as I say this all, ahaha- sorry, sorry. Anyway, what the League of Champions is, you say? Well, it's a group of individuals who... Well, it's unknown! All we know is that two or three of them were Pokémon World Champions in the past. They're in this very place right now, I'm sure it will be an honor to meet them! But that's for later.

Now, let me get into something important. As I said earlier, the criminal organizations keep getting more and more dangerous, a risk for all of you, and that is one of the reasons of why we're changing things around this time. See the pokédex in your hand? Yes, yes, the red device right there. It's updated in order to offer you several pleasures! For one, it's small and fits in your palm - the scanner right there, yeah, there! It scans and offers information about almost everything. All pokémon known to mankind up to this day is recorded there, and nearly all areas of this World have at least a bit of information added to it. Use it wisely! Now, that's not all theres new to it. Each of your pokedexes have something known as I.D number. This number is your identity as a trainer, allowing members of the Pokémon League to instantly recognize you. Do you know what that means? Pokémarts' discount, free rooms in pokémon centers! This number even allows you to talk with one another from afar, it's like a cellphone number - even allowing funny video chats with your friends and all. Don't get naughty with it, though. Yeah, kids, you're all so spoiled, that's why the price to pay in order to join the pokémon league was so high. Oh, I didn't explain about that, did I? Fine. The Pokémon League is what you're all part of, right now. Official Pokémon Trainers are part of it, they must follow it's codes and rules, and by doing that, you're instantly partaking in the Tournaments. Most tournaments offers little more than experience and a pokédollar reward, together with an item, to the winner. They're found in several towns, and you will be notified whenever a tournament is up. My, my, I need a cup of water, my sore is already throat. I've been speaking for a long while.

Anyway, here's the rules you must follow, kids!

◘ Never steal a trainer's pokémon, or an owned pokémon.
◘ Never engage in physical combat with another trainer, or order your pokémon to attack him.
◘ Treat your pokémon with care.
◘ Never disrespect a Gym Leader.
◘ We encourage friendship and rivalry, but never take the latter too far.
◘ Trainers are allowed to battle! However, never battle inside of a building such as the Pokémon Center or Pokémon Mart.

That's it for now, kids. Now now, let's get into the last piece of information before I allow all of you to run wildly towards your dream. You can find every type of pokémon everywhere now - of course, restricted to their natural habitat. Don't expect to find a Charizard in the grassy plains just over there... Unless it belongs to a trainer. Oh, remember, you're all just starting, but some trainers have been out there for a long while. I'd advice all of you to take care before accepting a pokémon trainer battle so blindly. Ah, yes, about your... Duty. I've gave some clear hints here and there that all of you make part of a group called Pokémon League. That means you have certain duties - but don't worry, they're nothing more than the natural things you'd do as a trainer. Remember, rewards can be given to those who manage to beat a member of a criminal organization or two, doing the good will get you rewards as well, so stay true to the League and you will become an excellent trainer quickly! That's all, if you have questions, you may now ask them to the World Champions, indeed, they will be answering those. So kind of them!

Out of character rules. Firstly, you are allowed up to two characters, and they're not restricted to pokémon trainers starting off in the Pokémon League. Also, just because they're part of it, it doesn't means they must follow all rules and do what the old fool up there just said. Rebels exists, after all. Criminal organizations are the ones from the game, there should be more than one, and they're probably rivals rather than allies. No, they're not supposed to be as silly as in the anime, Team Rocket for one would probably punch a kid in the face and steal his pokémon, anyway. "But Nero, wouldn't that be unfair?" Yep, and that's why CSs for characters part of the criminal organizations such as Team Rocket will be looked through carefully, and whoever posted them will have their forum account searched by our FBI agents in order to make sure it's a responsible, decent player.

Now, listing out some rules:

• Respect me above everything else, yes, I'm the God of this shit so whatever I say is law. Not really, but you lot probably understood.
• Respect the GMs or feel my and their wrath, GMs being: Taka Uchiha.
• No godmodding. Your pokémon ain't no god, fool.
• No stirring up shit/drama. I will eat your face.
• Me and GMs can do as we see like, if we think you're unfit for the roleplay, you will be kicked out without questioning.
• If theres an issue, don't bring it up openly. Message me, or the GMs.
• Keep it civil, I admit I use certain words here and there but, you know, limits.
• Evolution. "When to evolve?" Is a problem I've seen often in pokémon roleplays, to keep it fair, once you feel like you've progressed enough and battled enough with your pokémon and feel like he needs to evolve already, PM me with all the posts involving the pokémon you want to evolve. I will take a look at your posts and inform you if you're allowed to go ahead and evolve the thing or point out what's lacking. Pokémons that evolve based on happiness on stones is different at certain times, I will take the role of a DM and throw something in your way which will end up working towards either.
• Catching. Feel free to catch a pokémon - as long as it makes sense and the post is well written -. Something like; "Bob walks towards the next town when something rattles in the bush and a wild Pikachu appears. He orders his pidgey to throw sand at the pidgeys eyes and then tosses his pokéball, catchng it." Will make me gouge my eyes out and shove them into your eyes so you can experience my actual pain.

Your character can start as the following;

Pokémon League Trainer.
This makes him naturally start at the building located in the Cerulean Town, in 'Kanto', however, all regions are merged together into a greater one, so from there, you can basically decide where you go. To keep it organized - and somewhat realistic, given all the characters in this particular area are simply young people who just became trainers, they will be guided by a 'helper', who will point out where to start and such. Every canon-town is present, and their respective gyms. Although, theres no set level for each gym, the gym leaders will pick their pokemon based on your character's ability and skill as a trainer, meaning that regardless of where you go for the first gym, it should be relatively simple unless you pick something strong against your character's team, nooblord. You can start with one starter pokémon of any region, certain pokémons are allowed as well, such as Pidgey and blablablabla.

Criminal. (scum)
Part of whatever existing criminal organization there is. Remember, theres no need to wear a fancy black suit with a red R in the middle of your chest if you're part of the rockets; things aren't like the anime. Rockets/All criminals are actual criminals rather than silly idiots, they steal pokémon, money, items, bikes and punch kids in the face. Your character starts wherever you want, though a good place would be his organization's base or so, as an example. Your character can have up to three pokémon, and only one in it's last evolution.

Gym Leaders.
Your character is an experienced trainer with a plethora of pokémon (following his gym's element) in his hand, ranging from weak, barely trained ones to extremely powerful pokémon. Players need to be responsible, just like the one type of character above. Gym leaders can and likely will start in their town, those are a bit restricted though, as they can't really just leave their town and go have fun elsewhere. Whenever a Pokémon League Trainer is in the town and wants to battle, you must battle him.

Fairly well trained physically, able of walking long distances without tiring so easily. That's about it, really.

Nero is enigmatic and quiet, rarely taking an interest in conversations... Which makes him rather difficult to get along with. He's selfish and often appears cold and uncaring towards everyone and everything around him, though that's not particulary true, as Nero is a very observant person, often paying attention to his surroundings and what's going around him - mostly out of habit, as he still doesn't cares about you. He howevers, seems to care pretty deeply for his pokémon - heck, one could easily notice that he treats pokémon better than he treats humans. Though he's mostly focused on himself, that doesn't means it's impossible for him to help someone, especially if someone is really in need. He's not cruel, after all.

The boy prefers peaceful, calm enviroments and often enjoys laying on the grass while staring at the sky, spending countless minutes thinking about random things. This is one of the reasons his starter choice was a Bulbasaur. Oh, he's addicted to chocolate as well - though that addiction is often something which makes him show a rather... friendly side, towards people. Even when selfish, he actually cares enough to offer someone a piece or so.

Theres nothing far too interesting in this boy's past. He was a fairly well educated child, raised by fairly... rich parents. His childhood was a bit lonely, as he never took interest in talking with other children, and his parents weren't extremely present in his life. Anywho, he grew as an otherwise average kid, taking interest in pokémon when he was quite young - as most kids his age did. When he was of enough age, his parents finally allowed him to take the career of a trainer, paying the small fee for him to join the Pokémon League, and now he's there. Theres not much to say about it, his adventure is still about to start, after all.

Is always positive about things, unless something terrible happens. Can think of rather un-orthodox tactics. Is quite handy with some stuff, like with making simple tools. (though he often makes little mistakes and then things go horribly wrong)

Sometimes says something with he doesn't mean anything bad with it, but says it in the wrong way, thus making some situations either funny/awkward or very bad for Richard's health. This often happens with girls, since they take some things differently then guys.

Richard is a person that is often smiling and laughing. Even when there is no reason to laugh or to smile. You could say that it is very strange to see him without a smile, but that can happen. When Richard gets serious, he often becomes more quiet and then only speaks when he feels the need for it. With people like Arthur around, it is rare to see him like that and it isn't wise to provoke Richard with threatening Arthur or anybody who Richards sees as a friend. There is some doubt if Richard knows some shame, considering he sometimes thinks differently of things then ''normal'' people do and just want to try out things on his own before he wants any help.

With strangers, Richard is most of the time polite and also helpful. Even with people he dislikes, Richard tries to be friendly at all times, though people who know Richard well enough, can clearly see when he is annoyed by somebody.

Oh...Besides he is always smiling..He most of the time has his scarf up to cover the lower part of his face.

Being raised in a perfectly and normal family, Richard has been a bit of the outcast due his behavior. His whole family didn't mind pokemon much, but thought it was unwise to give any pokemon to Richard, due his ''odd behavior''.
After he met Arthur, he became best friends with the fellow and has been seen almost everywhere with him, acting like they are some kind of brothers. Though they go alone to the shower and such, mind you!
There isn't really much other to tell then that he is dreaming about just travelling around and..doing just what he wants.

She is rather good at cooking, especially poffins and such, though she has yet learn the art of how to make pokeblocks. Katherine is a fairly strong swimmer too, and always loves to be in the water.
Kathy seems to have a knack for drawing. She adores everything arty, and most of the time you with either see her sitting with her sketchbook in her hands, training or up and about with her camera. Even though she enjoys most forms or art, she prefers pencil. Kathy can also play the flute.

Katherine is a fairly loving and sweet natured girl. She is extremely loyal, and would put her own life at risk to save a friend, human or Pokémon. She always puts the needs of other before herself. Kathy is known to work tiredly to help a friend in need, and would never stop. She loves the outdoors, and spends most of her time out there, even in the rain.
Although, everything comes at a cost.
Katherine is very stubborn, and just won’t let anything go. She can hold grudges like it were a real object. She is of course quite opinionated. Though, she does listen to other people’s views but it doesn’t mean she has to agree with them. If she sees and hears anything that she disagrees with, she would be the first to speak up.
Kathy normally keeps to herself most of the time as people tend to get on her nerves. They don’t always have to do something wrong for her to dislike them, she just doesn’t like people. She has trouble trusting people for that reason. If Katherine takes a personal dislike to you, then you might as well be dead as she will make things hell for you. If you have done something wrong in her eyes, then she would never let you get away with it. For the poor sod that has miss-treated a Pokémon in front of Kathy, then I would advise them to get the hell away from there as fast as they possibly can as Kathy will go on man-hunt mode till she gets to them. She is not afraid of doing some serious damage to someone, so don’t get on her bad side, because you will totally regret it.
Never underestimate/undermine Kathy. She will go to the very limits to prove to you that she can do what you think she cannot, and she will do it 10x better than you could ever have done it. She never lets things go.

Katherine was born and raised in a small Town. She was an only child so she was very much loved by both her parents. Her life had been rather peaceful as there weren’t many people who came to visit the small town. Ever since she was young, she had always wanted a Pokémon of her very own to raise and train.
