Hm...well, the original idea was someone hired by a completely ruthless group of people to track down and kill various corrupt or dangerous individuals. Obviously that isn't the case here. I'll need to run through this in my head. Would a spy be more in line with the 'level' of the world?

These two outstanding traits in his personality makes him generally come off as overly cynical. Knowing this, he tries to be a little friendly, which can be a little socially awkward. This is mainly due to lack of experience. In the end, Emile is kind, generous and honest, covering this up with is introvert behavior and a hint of shyness.
⇒ Hɪsᴛᴏʀʏ ⇐Emile moved around with his father for most of his life. His father’s job required him to move around from region to region. He also spent a lot of time outside of his house, leaving Emile to take care of himself. Emile tried to become relatively self sufficient, since his father’s job didn’t pay for someone to watch him. Emile didn’t make too many friends while in school, since he would probably leave within the next month or month in a half. Now able to leave what semblance of a home setting, Emile hopes he can make real relationships with people.
