In the year 2055, there was a cataclysmic event known as the "Impact Aura" event. A meteor crashed into earth without damaging anything, but sent out a large aura that affected all human life on the planet. birth rates declined drastically, with 1 in about 10 million pregnancy actually resulting in child birth. At first this was thought to be the end of humanity, but there was a light in the darkness. Each of the children born, around the age of 5, developed psychic abilities.

The Impact Aura event was speculated to be a helping hand from superior beings assisting humans in evolving into higher beings as well, weeding out the children that had no psychic potential and bringing out the psychic potential in those who had it. Basically, it was a selective genocide of the old humans.

Scientist nicknamed the new children the "LastGen" children, an idea that said with them, humanity would die out and a new race would form, so they were the last generation of "normal" human kind. To help develop these children in safe and helpful environments, they created special schools for them to go to. Since there are no more child births the number of students in classes are amazingly low. Only 600+ children were born, and they were gathered in their respective countries to be raised together to ensure that their DNA would be passed on.

So, the rp will focus on a school that houses 4 or 5 LastGen children, and it will center around their daily interactions, and those that have plots for the children.

Let me establish the base rules for this

1. Not first come first serve. I am taking a limited amount of people to keep the rp under control well, but I don't only want to take those who can churn out a CS faster. I will accept at most four people into the rp based on how much I like their CS.

2. There will be a post rotation so things don't get to crazy.

3. Try to post once every day or so. This is only gonna be a small group so we do need everyone to post at least once a day to keep the rp active.

4. Fairness, no god mod, auto hit, etc. This is standard stuff people.

5. Remember the post length, this is probably gonna be a low to mid advance rp.

6. GM's word is final. If I say something, do it. It's just easier this way, I hate being tyrannical, but I'd rather do that and get stuff done than waste time arguing over stupid stuff.

7. Don't be a dick, this goes hand in hand with rule 6, just be nice to other people.

I tried to do this in casual but I decided to restart it in advanced.

1st. In your character sheets I'm going to ask for potential arc ideas centered around your character. These arcs will mot likely be only a few pages long and used in between the larger arcs as fillers while I plan out the arcs in more detail. Every character will get an arc centered around them that can be used to flesh out your character more, establish relationships, but mainly this is for everyone to get a feel of your character. During each of these character arcs, I will let whoever is the "main" character control it, since it is your personal story arc.

2nd. Obviously not all humans want the LastGen to be the only remaining kind, so there is an opposing faction simply known as the "Agency" that will cause some trouble for the students during the rp.

3rd. Of course, Aliens. Why else would a meteor have the ability to selectively wipe out beings, right? There will be interactions with the "progenitors" as they'll be identified for now. They have their purposes for doing what they did, and also have a plan for the LastGen children.

Personality: She used to be a very closed off girl, but through her counselling while in the governments care, she grew up to be a lively girl. She always enjoyed hanging out with other kids like her when she could, and hopes to make friends with those in the new school.

Power: Hemokinesis

Background/Potential Story: Mia grew up as a normal child, not knowing she was the result of the Impact aura event. She grew up normally until her powers developed. With her Hemokinesis, she caused her brother to bleed from every orifice on his body when he angered her. Her parents quickly sent her away to the government as they feared her, and she was trained to control her ability better and then was sent off to school. Her own plot would be more emotional, dealing with her family mainly.

Don't make the CS to much, I'm using this more as just a quick reference for the character's and what they're like, I want development within the rp.

If your gonna be manipulating luck, I'd figure for gambling purposes regular telekinesis would work better and if just daily interactions and such, I think something with mental projection would make more sense, but I think it's fine if no one else has any objections. Obviously there has to be a limit to the luck you could manipulate.

Yea, I don't plan to use everything the wiki page says but it's a cool idea. I won't be doing no god-modding stuff with it. I'll keep things 'real' so I can't just find a billion dollars in my pocket.

I'll likely have my CS up tomorrow morning (unless I can't sleep tonight, which is entirely possible, in which case it'll be up tonight.) Just to make it clear, Ruler, you're not going for illusions, then? I may work with that idea if that's the case. Otherwise I'll pick something else.

Sexuality: Innocent as a flower (If romance stuff happens, we'll see at that time, but for now, she's never thought about it.)

Appearance:

Always seen in bright clothing, Claire defines the word "Peppy." She has a contagious grin, and walks with a spring in her step that others find difficult to follow.

Personality: Bouncy, bright, and like a motor that can't stop, Claire is always on the go. Whether she is hanging out with friends, making new friends, or invested in some project, it seems like the girl is always in motion one way or other. There are times when she is literally bouncing off of the walls. Nobody has ever seen her sad or crying, and in all likelihood, nobody ever will.

Power: I can't find a link to a wiki or anything, but I can lay it out pretty clearly here. The power is "Projection."
-Able to project lifelike images of things within a very small radius of her body (almost touching her)
-Images are dispelled when touched by someone else
-There is no limit to the amount or strength of these images. They can vary from smoky illusions to extremely lifelike alterations.

I'm thinking that over the course of the RP these powers would develop to get rid of some of the limitations over time (like they wouldn't get dispelled by touch, or expanding her range, etc)

Background/Potential story: Claire doesn't talk much about her background, both figuratively and literally. She is mute, and communicates through her ability to some extent, and wears her emotions on her sleeve. She believes in living in the present, and often will changes the subject or simply pretend to ignore others when they bring it up.

As for a potential story arc, it would have to deal with her background (and why she doesn't talk about it.) I figure maybe her projection ability would go berserk and she would 'project' certain scenes from her memory to everyone. I don't really want to say more than that, but if you need more than that, ask away.

It's pretty barebones, but as you said, it's just a quick reference guide. I'd like to do most of my development within the RP itself.

@Ghurdrich, good character, just pm me the basic gist of the images she'd project for her personal story arc. Not specifics, but just if people died or if she had a traumatic event happen to her, etc. Just the minimum details required so I understand it. other than that, it looks great. Nice to have another female character since last time I tried this was only my fem. Hopefully fox and ruler make guys to even it out.
