Well then she and Mia might not get along *refers to Mia's post in the fight* Jesus she went hard on them, and she intends to make it even worse for the surviving attackers.

I am okay with this, as it's a dynamic I'm fond of. It's like, we can get along, but Claire will always want to make Mia see the light, and they might even come to blows over it, but they're still friends. AKA Vash/Wolfwood, Goku/Vegeta, etc etc. I'd reference something that's not anime but I stopped watching TV four years ago so I don't know what you kids watch these days xD

It can be semi-tragic too. After all, Since Mia is way stronger than Claire, she'll usually get her way (at least, at first.) That would be Claire's motivation to get stronger.

Yeah I am imagining each person having a reason to compare themselves to Mia.

Claire to try and make her stop her killing instinct

James to become stronger and change himself, accept his gift and look at everything differently like Mia.

Chris because with Mia knowing what he did, maybe a slight grudge idea or something. (Chris is the only one I can't make a definite one for)

Eli cause he just wants to be better than everyone else, Mia included.
