Matthias dismounted from his fine stallion and glanced up at the mansion before him, the letter in his pocked burned as if living coal, how dared whoever was waiting for him in there send him such threats? Matthias mostly wanted to just walk away, however that was not easy with the content of the letter and he also wanted to know who had sent it. The witch hunter tied his horse to a tree and patted the animal's back, he preferred to keep his horse here, some distance from the mansion to lessen the chance that the animal would be led away leaving him with a very reduced chance to escape if he should need it, perhaps here there was a chance none would find his fine animal. Matthias sigh then with one hand on his sword he begun to walk up towards the mansion, once there he knocked on the heavy doors. Matthias was not in a good mood, this was foolishness, he should be out doing God's work not answering threats and blackmail, this would end now and whoever had sent these letters would learn what happened when one angered a righteous man, Matthias would be sure to put the fear of God in him.
