As many of you know, I am studying to be a middle school/high school teacher.
I've been working on building my resume (working at camps, working with immigrant workers to get their high school diploma), and one of the things that I really wanted was more time in an actual classroom.
So I emailed a teacher that I had back when I was in highschool, asking if she would be interested in having me as a TA. I was nervous because its been almost eight years. She may have forgotten me.
But she responded almost immediately telling me how nice it was to hear from me, and how I am always welcome in her classroom.
And she also said she remembered how much I loved theatre, so she's set me up to help in the theatre production class as well as the normal classroom.
Haven't you heard?
