I don't understand you, Whetfeather. You entered WOTM and supposedly support it yet now you're fighting for this to be a thing and enter this instead of WOTM in future dates. I feel so Betrayed. I mean, you were all excited for the Official one, but now you're gung-ho for the Spam one? You Lost me here. I just can't get Inside Your Head with this one. I mean, I don't want any Flames between the contests, or any Wars, and I certainly don't want to be labeled as some sort of Hate Machine against stuff like this and WU- really I just wanna be Friends! But I still feel like I need to take Action, because, well, for this to undermine the Official WOTM, that'd be a Tragedy, a Crime even. It'd be a real Sin for me to let WOTM suffer because of this Creation, I'd say. And the coincidence that all this came up right when Jorick became manager, that's just a Conspiracy! But at the same time I know I shouldn't let my Emotions get so involved in my position here, so I think a couple of Spam entrants would be a fair Sacrifice to keep WOTM's dignity and respect.

Oh hey. This is a thing again.

I almost said something about taking the theme and all, since even Foxes came up with his own genre when WU was a thing, but then I was like "fuck it WOTM got 22 entries this month I don't even care".

It's not like Travel Log which got enough flack here that I really thought there would be an entry shortage with WU around. But there still wasn't. Not much less than the highly popular Betrayal which was last month's. Also quite a few Spammers entered if I recall.

But yeah, WOTM does look to improve. We make tiny changes all the time trying to fix little things and make the contest better. Unfortunately Foxes while I respect your opinion, a complete restructuring of WOTM will not happen. Especially since it doesn't pertain to "the masses" like you kept talking about with the WU thing. You're fervently against components, I get that. But it's mainly just you.

But uh, yeaaaah... The current system works well. We just focus on fixing what doesn't.

At any rate, I'm glad this thread could go up without either one of us spitting flames at each other like last time. I groaned when I saw this thread just because I was afraid of all that bubbling back up.

Thank you for marginalizing me as though my opinion doesn't matter because I'm in the minority. I appreciate it when people act like they're better than me, and I openly welcome all the condescension and attitude native to sore winners.

Seriously, though, I have articulated my problems with WOTM and my understanding that this is not subject to change. Don't stir up shit with me. I almost kind of liked you for a while.
