I'm sad that this guy isn't a politician so it didn't immediately hit the national news scene. Anyway, there's this guy, Kevin Swanson, who's a host on Generations Radio (a religious radio show). He was talking to a guy who had just made an anti-contraception documentary when he said this:

I’m beginning to get some evidence from certain doctors and certain scientists that have done research on women’s wombs after they’ve gone through the surgery, and they’ve compared the wombs of women who were on the birth control pill to those who were not on the birth control pill. And they have found that with women who are on the birth control pill, there are these little tiny fetuses, these little babies, that are embedded into the womb. They’re just like dead babies. They’re on the inside of the womb. And these wombs of women who have been on the birth control pill effectively have become graveyards for lots and lots of little babies.

That's fucking metal. Also stupid, but I think that was self-evident. Dude doesn't know the first thing about how contraception works. Here's a link to the rather biased site that first broke the story. It has audio clips of the above and another thing where these guys talked about how women need to learn their place and also how contraception is evil because Hitler or something.

To tell you the truth I would believe it if he actually had legit sources. What I know of birth control is it keeps the uterine lining thin, and sometimes so thin they don't even shed it during their periods. Which in theory could mean that if an egg embedded in it then it could stay there if it went un-shed and would die eventually. Depending on what birth control a woman is on she could have little to nothing given off during a period so I wouldn't be surprised if it just stayed there. Although I don't think it's any big concern. They would just be tiny cells, I doubt they would have grown at all.

It might sound crazy but it does sound plausible to me, albeit really creepy and lacking citation.

Edit: Misread when they said "fetuses." Okay yeah that part is definitely wrong, although I would believe it if it were dead eggs.
