Another day to fall away from
The memories when we were one
I’m not sure there is a cure,
Can this be undone?
Where did we go wrong?
----------xXx----------xXx----------
Greetings, friends and fellow roleplayers! Welcome to my humble gallery. Herein you will find miscellaneous back/side stories for active characters, character sheets for roleplays both living and deceased, pieces of poetry I've written, unrelated short-stories and one-shots, and... as always ...an unending stream of my self-made signature sets.
Some of the signatures I've posted here are unused/unclaimed. If you'd like one of them, I can probably edit them a little for you. Just PM me if you see something you like. I have a difficult time drawing inspiration for others' requests, especially if I'm not familiar with the subject material, but I do take the odd request. So, again, PM me if you're interested in graphics. It doesn't hurt if you're a buddy of mine. ;3
Let me say that I am always happy to have constructive criticism, tips and pointers. Thank you in advance for taking the time to browse through my randomness. I add to my gallery at odd intervals, so if you like my work and want to keep up with me be sure to subscribe!
So, I guess that's about it! Thanks for stopping by!!
----------xXx----------xXx----------
There’s a war in between our words again,
Cause you only believe me now and then.
But I need you to know you’ve always been
The reason that I breathe oxygen.
Why can’t you believe me?
So close but yet so far,
We have lost who we are.
So close but yet so far,
We are lost inside our scars.

Character Sheet for Hill Top Daycare. (Dead)
Name: Katie J. Stallworth
Occupation:
Katie is a student at the nearby college, studying towards her bachelor’s of arts in musical composition. She’s a skilled pianist, and provides accompaniment to the Hill Top kids’ games of ‘If You’re Happy And You Know It’ and ‘The Hokey Pokey’. Katie also loves playing classical songs by great composers to help broaden their young horizons.
Age: 19
Appearance: (See Character Pics album for picture.)
Katie is slender, not at all muscular, and only just curvy enough to be distinctly feminine. She stands about 5’ 6”, her frame bordering on lanky with long, delicately shaped limbs. Her straw blonde hair is usually done in a chunky, angular fashion that makes her round face seem even softer by contrast. Katie’s skin is very pale gold in color and smooth, firm over her high cheekbones and slightly angular jaw. A narrow, delicate nose and sweetly curved but smallish lips round out the compliment of features. Her eyes are an unusual shade of green touched with hints of grey, and though they are bright and vital it almost seems as if something in their depths is disconnected.
Katie generally wears soft, muted colors because anything bright washes out her skin. Chocolate browns, misty greens and rosy pinks seem to be her favorite, in anything from girly tops and skirts to t-shirts and jeans. She prefers sneakers for her footwear, and for some reason seems to enjoy pairing them with skirts whenever she can get away with it. She doesn’t wear much makeup on a daily basis. Mascara, eyeliner, a light dusting of pink or grey shadow on her lids and a touch of lip gloss in cotton candy or pale rose are all applied with a light hand.
Personality:
Katie’s voice and her overall demeanor match her soft, carefully chosen outfits. She moves lightly on her feet, and her carefully trained fingers sometimes flutter nervously while she’s speaking. Her voice is quiet enough that she’s often asked to repeat herself, especially when meeting new people. She comes across as being timid, perhaps not as confident as she should be with her good looks. With the kids and around familiar people, however, Katie’s good soul shines through. She is randomly kind and unaffectedly thoughtful; doing her best to cheer up anyone who she thinks needs it. Polite interest walks a fine line with Katie. Occasionally she cannot restrain herself from asking blunt and intensely personal questions.
Music is life to Katie. Usually when she has free time she can be found in her room with earphones plugged into her electric keyboard and her narrow, tapered fingers flying over the plastic ivories. Until she unplugs the headphones it is a mildly annoying clicking sound that she makes, but over the speakers she creates beautiful and twisting works of art through sound. Asking her about the subject of music will get her animated and talkative more than any other topic, and she sometimes bores laypeople with complex musical principles and obscure composer references.
History:
Katie was adopted by Jim and Monica Stallworth when she was only days old. She never met either of her biological parents, but didn’t need them. Jim and Monica were always Mom and Dad, and they gave young Katie all the love that she could ever need. They lived a few miles outside of town and had just enough property to keep a few horses, chickens, cats, dogs, and one exceptionally large pet pig named Wilbur. As a child, Katie enjoyed spending time outdoors playing with the smaller animals or following her older brother Michael as he did his chores. Though all she ever succeeded at was getting muddy, the strong desire to help people followed Katie into adolescence.
Katie’s older brother Michael was Jim and Monica’s natural son. Their parents never made Katie feel less important or special than her brother, and Michael’s sunny nature always brought out the best in shy little Katie. The siblings got along well, but were never especially close. Michael looked out for Katie as best he could, but was athletic, popular, and a year ahead of her in school. He hung out with a different crowd and was sometimes too busy for his quiet kid sister… though he did beat up her first boyfriend for breaking her heart.
In school, Katie’s unique combination of a quiet manner and need to please gave her only a handful of close friends. Not ever one for parties or large groups of people, Katie spent most of her evenings studying at home. The result was good grades and a sedate but satisfying social life.
Katie was a late bloomer, so her first years of high school continued on like her middle school life had never stopped. In the small town where she lived the middle school and high school were in one building, so in reality she and all her friends had just switched which side of the school they walked into each morning. The summer between her sophomore and junior year Katie finally noticed that she was developing the gentle curves her female friends had possessed for some time. The boys noticed too, first at the lake where she spent her summer and next at school the following fall.
She began exclusively dating her most persistent suitor, the track team captain Zack Branning. It didn’t take Katie long to become deeply attached to his all-American good looks and laid-back demeanor. They maintained a close relationship throughout their junior year. The following year, as a senior, the previously studious and responsible Zack became increasingly reckless and wild. He frequently left Katie behind to go partying with his friends, and at one point there was even a rumor that he was considering dumping Katie so he could find a girl who wanted to have more fun. Katie immediately made an effort to become more outgoing, attending parties and social functions as often as she could. Zack seemed satisfied with the change and they dated the length of their senior year.
Katie, needing a change of scenery, studied abroad in London for a year before starting college. She attended more operas and concerts than she can count, choked on a pint of Guinness, and had a whirlwind –but G rated- romance with a beautiful Brit.
When the time came for Katie to enroll at Heartship College, she and her father were dismayed to find that on-campus housing was full. Katie wouldn’t have a room there until the following fall. The first name that came to everyone’s lips at hearing Katie’s situation was Hill Top. She arrived only weeks before the senior Mr. Sheehan passed away, and is concerned that if she can’t live at Hill Top she’ll have to wait another year to attend Heartship.
Something Silly:
Katie frequently talks and sings to herself, as well as to inanimate objects. She is most often caught knocking lightly on her computer screen and asking, “Hello, anybody home? Hurry it up please!” Katie also has a small issue with invading people’s personal space. She doesn’t think before touching a shiny broach on someone’s coat or lightly petting the sleeve of an especially fluffy sweater, and sometimes it makes people uncomfortable.
Secret:
At the graduation party Katie and Zack attended, one of the students had managed to obtain a couple of kegs and several bottles of alcohol through an older sibling. Katie, inexperienced and insecure, let Zack talk her into drinking several mixed drinks and really cutting loose. He coaxed her upstairs to an empty bedroom, but she realized what he meant to do there and demanded that he take her home. Zack had downed far more drinks than Katie realized, and as they sped towards Katie’s house Zack lost control of his Mustang on a sharp curve. The car skidded into a ditch and struck a telephone pole. Though badly bruised and emotionally rocked, Katie came through the accident with what the hospital doctors called “minor injuries”. Zack hadn’t been wearing his seat belt. He was catapulted through the windshield and died from his wounds before the ambulance arrived, but after Katie had made it to his side. Katie needed a full year to recover from the mental injury of the traumatic event. She maintains that she spent a year studying abroad rather than admit that she was curled up in her bed, shaking, much of that time.

Character Sheet for Cursed. (Dead)
Name: Nellyra Alinet
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Human Appearance: When not in the throes of her cursed state, Nellyra is a wreck of a woman. She is petite in stature, standing no more than 5’ 3” in her bare feet. She is also skinny to a fault. Her clothes hang off of her, supported by bony outcrops instead of a woman’s soft curves. Her brown hair, lifeless and dull, hangs just past her shoulders. Her gaze is a deep amber color but, like her hair, the life seems to have drained from her eyes. The planes of her face are gaunt; high cheekbones and a sharp jaw have been turned to razors by the loss of all fat and substance. Her dress hides as much of her body as possible, from the high neck and long sleeves to the toe-brushing length. It was likely beautiful once, as was Nellyra herself, but it has become frayed, tattered and grey with use and neglect.
Curse: Nellyra was a witch, soul bound to a fairy named Cid, until he was killed in battle. A fairy in the envoy of Nellyra’s enemy, named Akira, spun a curse on the human woman. She cursed Nellyra to never again be able to give her love, and be eternally bound only to death and despair. Akira called this curse, “The Bride of Sorrow”. Any time Nellyra feels any emotion besides sadness, emptiness, loneliness or despair, the curse overtakes her. Nellyra usually wakes up to a scene of destruction and chaos that she has no memory of causing. Because of this, she is wanted as well as cursed.
Curse Breaker(s): Akira intended for her curse to last forever, but was apparently unaware of the cure offered by the Blessed Spring of Nofae Mountain.
Cursed Appearance: When the curse has Nellyra in its grasp, her physical appearance becomes ghastly. Her pale skin is laced by vine-like black streaks that wrap around each appendage, her torso and neck, and end in spirals that cover both her cheeks. Her amber eyes glow with a reddish light, and her voice becomes little more than a guttural growl. Nellyra loses her mind and destroys anything within her reach, using the echoes of fairy magic that Cid left behind in her. To ensure that Nellyra’s curse would indeed last forever, Akira saw to it that when Nellyra’s energy was spent and any good emotions crushed, Nellyra would be transformed into a black cat for up to twelve hours after her “spell” is over. This change allows Nellyra to escape undetected from the scene of her episodes.
Bio: A merchant’s daughter, Nellyra had been raised to fulfill an obligation that her father, Agnon, had made before she could even walk. Agnon was a powerful silk merchant, owning several ships and shops, but he was not without competition. Raynor, the upstart son of the town’s Mayor, decided that he too would become a silk trader. With the favor of the local government behind him, Raynor was a wealthy man in very little time. Agnon saw what Raynor could do to his family’s business, and so begged Raynor to take up other business pursuits. Raynor could not be bought with gold or lands. He had his eye on Agnon’s oldest daughter Keliana as his price, but Keliana’s hand was already promised to a wealthy man across the sea. Unwilling to lose the alliance he would form by Keliana’s marriage, Agnon unwillingly promised the hand of his youngest daughter, Nellyra, to Raynor. Raynor, on good faith, gave up his silk trading enterprise. Nellyra was raised in her father’s home, as a normal girl. She was given love, attention, and all the things a body needs to grow up strong and sane. Her childhood was unremarkable.
Three days before her wedding to the now middle-aged Raynor, Nellyra was in her house’s gardens weeping to herself. Nellyra was sixteen and more beautiful than Agnon ever could have hoped. It pained him to give her to the greedy and ruthless Raynor, but Agnon could not go back on his word. As the day deepened into twilight, and Nellyra remained in the gardens alone, she heard the sound of footsteps outside the garden wall. Curious, Nellyra stepped outside the gate and found herself face-to-face with the most beautiful man she’d ever seen. He was tall, powerfully built, and had odd white hair and pointed ears. Nellyra, however, was captivated by his sky-blue eyes and velvety voice. He told her that his name was Cid, and that he’d heard her crying and followed the sound. She explained to Cid that she was due to be married in two days’ time to an awful man. Cid, with a smile, told her that he would rescue her from this fate.
Cid took Nellyra to his home deep in the woods. He revealed himself as a fairy, albeit a large one. Nellyra was instantly smitten with Cid, and Cid was smitten with her. As days turned to weeks and weeks to months, Cid and Nellyra realized they were in love. Nellyra wanted to visit her family one last time before retiring to the Fae Woods with Cid for the rest of their lives. Before leaving on the journey to Nellyra’s familial home, Cid and Nellyra decided to bind their souls together in love. Nellyra became a witch, bound forever to her beloved Cid.
When Cid and Nellyra reached her family’s home, they found that none were left living there. In the nearby town, they heard the tale of how Raynor, sick with jealousy and rage when his bride-to-be disappeared, slaughtered Nellyra’s father, mother, and youngest brother. Nellyra and Cid were enraged, and went to seek out Raynor. Raynor, ever the greedy bastard, had learned through his spies what Nellyra had become and who she was with. He laid a trap for the two, and though Nellyra and Cid fought bravely and well, they were no match for Raynor’s troop of guardsmen and his hired fairy assassin. Nellyra was badly wounded, but Cid was killed in the battle.
Vengeance became Nellyra’s only goal. Since Cid was the first of the bonded pair to die, Nellyra’s very soul went with him. She managed to take a violent and bloody revenge on Raynor, but was empty inside afterwards. As she stood in the ever-widening pool of Raynor’s blood, she was attacked by a tiny female fairy that had been loved by Raynor for many years. Knowing all that had transpired between Raynor, Nellyra, and Cid, Akira cursed Nellyra to be forever bound to death and sadness, and to never again know love.
Belongings/Tools/Artifacts: Since Nellyra no longer has the ability to care about anything, her belongings are minimal. She carries only the clothes on her back and a small satchel. The satchel contains food and a canteen of water, and one personal artifact. A necklace made of silver and crystal, which Cid gave Nellyra just after their bonding. Nellyra has not looked at this necklace much since her curse, as doing so evokes emotions powerful enough to throw her into a violent and deadly rage.
Talents/Skills: By evoking a memory of Cid, Nellyra is able to use her curse to defeat nearly any physical, and many magical, attacks. The collateral damage, however, is great.
Weaknesses/Faults: Any feeling of gladness or well-being is immediately punished by a curse episode. Nellyra can not allow herself to feel much of anything, thus, is not often capable of communicating with other beings.

This is an itty bitty one I did for a RP called Infinite Horror. There was a possibility of the character getting killed so I didn't put a whole lot into it. (Dead)
Name: Samantha Kirby (aka Sam)
Sex: Female
Appearance: A silky tangle of blue-black hair sits like a dark crown atop a round, smooth face. With no harsh angles Sam’s visage seems perpetually teenaged, and is punctuated with a pair of bright green eyes and a sweet little curved mouth. All of it, however, is most often painted black. Thick smears of black eyeliner and lipstick make deep scars through the meticulously applied white make-up. No color is allowed in her round cheeks. Her slender neck bears a tribal tattoo that starts below her right ear and disappears beneath the collar of a black Killswitch Engage t-shirt. Her jeans are fitted to her long, athletic legs, and terminate with heavy biker boots.
Personality: Sam likes to think that she’s a badass. That she’s stronger, tougher, and far more metal than any other girl around. She puts up a hard front, but deep down she’s pretty much a softie. She loves to help people, especially by solving a problem that they couldn’t have worked out on their own. Her greatest asset lies behind those big green eyes: a mind that’s sharp as a tack.
Past history: Sam grew up in the flattest part of Kansas, in a small town with nothing to do. Though she did well throughout school and managed to make and keep friends despite her ever-darkening wardrobe, Sam lit out of Coldwater less than a week after graduating. She landed at the University of Nebraska in Omaha, working towards her nursing degree.
Miscellaneous: Skilled equestrian.

Hey, finally, one of my boys! This was a CS for All Angels Cry, the first advanced I signed up for here. Unfortunately, it's dead now.
Name: Cameron “Cam” Sterling
Species: Human
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Orientation: Straight
Occupation:
On Team Six, Cameron holds a double role. In a laboratory setting, Cam works as a geneticist studying the lægna’s DNA and genetic code, trying to find the minute mutations that differentiate humans from their newly discovered predator. In the field, Cameron is a dangerous weapon against lægna and their allies. Though he’s never had any formal training, Cameron is lethally accurate with his twin Desert Eagles, and seems to have a very good grip on how lægna move and fight.
Weapon Description:
Two Desert Eagles, in plain gunmetal color with black grips, are slung into shoulder holsters for easy access. Cam favors .50 AE bullets, more powerful than standard .44 magnum shells. He has, however, been known to switch to the murderously cruel hollow-point version. Unless Cameron knows he’s heading into battle, he usually only carries one extra clip for each gun. Oddly enough, Cameron takes his weapons to the local Catholic church each month to have them blessed by a priest, “just in case.” The semi-automatic pistols have one distinguishing feature. In an ornate script, they each have a single word inscribed on the grip. The one shouldered under Cam’s right arm reads ‘Regret’ in a beautiful pale blue color. The gun in the left holster is etched with ‘Revenge’, in deep scarlet.
Appearance: (See Charatcer Pics album for an image.)
At six foot one, Cameron stands just a shade taller than most human men. He is built like a mixed martial arts fighter; broad shoulders, long, heavily muscled limbs, and a well-toned core. For his strength, Cam is also quite agile, imbued with a kind of grace that often evokes thoughts of a trained ballet dancer. His narrow, slanted eyes are a brown so dark it borders on black, and his short hair is the same color. His nose has a distinctive bump at its bridge that signifies it has been broken at one point in the past. His square jaw and slightly cleft chin are often shadowed by dark stubble, as Cameron frequently forgets to shave.
Cameron’s clothing is usually black or shades of gray, with an occasional white item thrown in for good measure. If heading to the lab, Cam will be wearing loose-fitting black slacks and a button up dress shirt in black, gray, or occasionally a deep cadet blue. For his fieldwork, Cameron chooses a slightly darker look: all black, in form fitting styles cut from cotton cloth, and overlaid with a black gun belt and bulletproof vest commonly seen on police and military figures. The time in between, when Cameron is only an ordinary citizen, Joe Blow on the street, he wears dark washed denim jeans and dark button-up shirts. Cameron also dons a black, calf-length trench coat, convenient for concealing his dual weapons in their shoulder holsters.
Personality:
Cameron is an intense type of guy. He always seems to be brooding over something, dark eyes distant as he contemplates… whatever. Cam is quite intelligent; a trait that serves him well on the battlefield a well as in the lab, but it tends to make interpersonal relationships difficult as he over thinks everything. He’s a skeptic through and through, unwilling to believe anything he hasn’t seen with his own eyes. When he considers the recent discovery of the lægna and how it must have made others feel to find these creatures had been living in their midst, unknown, it made him reconsider his disbelieving nature. However, he still feels it is more prudent to reserve judgment until all the evidence is in. He has no faith in God, or any other deity, believing instead that his fate is in his own hands. He feels that if religion helps others to be better people, bless them for their faith, but that life and creed is not for him. The brutal reality of the world long ago led Cam to the conclusion that if God is still up there, he no longer listens or cares. Though many believe that the lægna are angels, or related to them, Cameron finds this notion utterly ridiculous. No angelic being would devour humans the way the lægna do, and surely no God would allow such abominations to exist.
When it comes to women, Cam finds himself withdrawn and distant. Though he is a healthy, heterosexual male, deep mental wounds prevent him from becoming too attached to anybody, much less to a girlfriend. In past relationships, he’s neglected his ladies until they went seeking attention and comfort in the arms of others. Cameron finds that he’s better off without such baggage attached to him, free to come and go as he pleases, working late nights and early mornings.
Cameron may be bordering on a genius, but he has one fault that has cost him dearly over the years: he’s quite absent-minded. Though he’s never run off without Revenge and Regret, he often misplaces keys, watches, paperwork, and other things that are not of immediate and vital importance.
Background:
Cameron was born to an unmarried woman, Darlene Sterling, when she was twenty-two years old. The result of an intense but brief affair with a brilliant and married doctor, Cameron never met – or even knew the identity of – his father. Though he wondered and asked about his missing parent frequently, Darlene did the best she could with Cameron. He was often too intelligent for his own good, getting into situations that he couldn’t get out of. Luckily, his doting mother was always there to help.
Darlene worked nights as a nurse at New York’s Mercy Hospital. She enjoyed her job, and though she was by no means rich, she managed to provide a decent life for herself and her son. Working nights meant that Darlene didn’t spend much time with Cameron during the week, and made their weekend together time infinitely more valuable to the young man.
Through elementary and middle school, Cameron pulled flawless marks without much effort. He found that learning information and recalling it on command was as instinctive to him as breathing, and that his capacity for immediate recall was unusual in a child his age. He was tested for gifted classes and advanced placement, and though his scores would have allowed him into any program his mother chose for him, Cameron begged to remain in regular classes. Darlene indulged him in this.
One evening when Cameron was fourteen, he and his mother were sitting in their modest apartment watching a movie. A knock sounded at the front door, and Darlene answered to find a man, soaked in blood, shouting that someone had told him a nurse lived here and that his friend desperately needed help. Darlene was never one to turn away a person in trouble, and she dashed out the door telling Cameron to stay where he was.
To this day, Cameron wishes he’d listened to her that one last time.
Cam quietly followed his mother and the stranger down several flights of stairs and out into an alleyway between their apartment building and the next. The bloody man was directing his mother towards a spot behind several dumpsters, and from his hiding place just inside the building’s door, Cam could see a human leg protruding from behind the dumpster. Cam’s mother, however, did not make a move towards the person. She lifted both her hands to her face in an expression of shock and horror. Darlene turned to look at the stranger, as if to ask what had happened, and let out a bloodcurdling scream.
The stranger had stepped behind the dumpster, out of Cameron’s range of view, but he saw huge white wings rise over the green metal bins. An arm shot out and grabbed his mother, dragging her towards what Cam assumed was the already dead body. He couldn’t let that happen to her.
Cameron burst through the door and ran as fast as he could towards the struggling Darlene. Her head whipped around, and when she spied her son her eyes grew large, desperate.
“No, Cam!” She cried. “Get out of here! Run!”
Cameron paid her no heed. He rounded the last dumpster and stopped short at the sight.
The stranger that had his mother was no stranger at all, but a monster instead. Huge white wings, feathery but ragged, rose above the creature and blotted out the single light in the alley. The thing’s jaws were massive, full of sharply serrated teeth. The hand that was locked around his mother’s slender wrist was slightly elongated; the fingernails long and curved like claws. At the creature’s feet was the rest of the body it had used to lure his mother out. Only half a human, the deceased appeared to have been… consumed. At the person’s waist, the body just stopped, and it looked as if the pelvis had been chewed on.
Before the teenaged Cameron could vomit, or even scream, one of the creature’s long legs whipped forward, and Cam was plunged into darkness.
When Cameron came to, his mother was gone, along with the other body. All that remained was a sticky, drying pool of blood. He could find no trace of his mother. She was not in the apartment, and he called the hospital only to discover they hadn’t received any word from her. Desperate, Cameron went to the police.
The idea would eventually result in a deep lack of trust for law enforcement, because when Cameron recited his unusual story to the detectives, they called for a psych evaluation instead of going to look for his mother. Enraged, Cameron became violent in the police station and wound up breaking one officer’s jaw before he was subdued and carried to the mental hospital.
Cameron would be committed at Birchfield Mental Health Facility for the next two and a half years. At first he continued to insist that this creature, a demonic angel, had taken his Mom and devoured her. Soon, however, Cameron realized that his continued insistence would earn him only further scorn and more time in the asylum. Relying heavily on his intelligence, Cameron managed to escape, though not by conventional means. He was able to convince his doctors and therapists that his mental condition had improved enough for him to be released. At the age of seventeen, Cameron was finally allowed to leave the hospital.
Immediately Cameron went about finding a job and securing himself a place to live. The state tried to place him in a foster home, but at seventeen Cameron was able to convince a judge to let him live in peace as an emancipated minor. Though he had to check in with social services on a weekly basis until he turned eighteen due to his “psychological condition”, Cam was a free man.
He obtained his High School equivalency diploma with minimal effort, and scored highly enough on his SAT’s to be awarded a scholarship to Rutgers in New Jersey. He studied genetics there, and graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor’s of Science in Genetics.
Several years into his career as a geneticist with the United States government, humanity discovered what Cameron had known for years: the lægna. When the news broke that these creatures did in fact exist, Cameron was able to approach his superiors with his existing knowledge of the beasts. He was immediately offered a position on Team Six.
He had already witnessed, first hand, the brutal terror that the lægna are. He has vowed to never again let what happened to his mother happen to anyone else. As far as Cameron is concerned, these beasts are humanity’s greatest rival, and he fully intends to use every asset he possesses in order to defeat them and secure the future for humankind.
Other:
Cameron has no qualms destroying any and all lægna on the spot, regardless of their age, gender, or any other factor. Though his research work is geared towards finding a weakness in the lægna, his goals in the outside world run towards finding a way to identify lægna who have not revealed themselves. Cameron is absolutely certain that there is some way to find them out, even if their camouflage is flawless.

CS for The Haven, which I believe is now dead. I dropped it.
Name: Caroline Foxgrove
Age: 17
Appearance:
Caroline is a lovely young woman, standing about 5’ 5” tall and radiating energy even as she is standing still. Her skin is the very pale, milky shade that should belong to a redhead, with tiny freckles on the apples of her cheeks and across her nose. Her hair is a deep burnished chestnut shot through with glimmering gold lights. It is almost always loose, worn in a wild tangle of curls that often falls into her face, shading warm and alert cocoa colored eyes. Her nose is slightly too big for her oval face, but it is balanced out by a set of lush, pouty lips. Her expression is always a bit impish; like she knows something you don’t… but could lead you to it.
Distinguishing Marks: Directly on the point of her right hip, Caroline has a birthmark about three inches long that eerily resembles a small flame.
Body Type: Toned but not quite athletic.
Physical Condition: Healthy.
Physical Abilities/Limitations: Caroline is a Firestarter, or pyrokinetic. Using only the power of her mind, she is capable of spontaneously igniting fires on any surface, and even in thin air. One of her favorite tricks is to make flames dance along an object without burning it. Given the right environment, the amount of damage Caroline can cause is earth-shattering. The drawback, however, is that Caroline does not yet have full control of her ability. She has been known to light her own room on fire by mistake, especially when she is angry.
Physical Illnesses or Afflictions: Caroline suffers from infrequent but terrible headaches. She is fairly certain they are connected to her pyrokinesis but she’s not entirely sure how.
Physical Imperfections/Like To Change: A reminder of an early experience as a Firestarter, Caroline has an ugly burn scar on the outside of her right thigh. However, this scar is only visible when she is in a bathing suit.
Weaponry, Armory, and Inventory: When Caroline is around, practically everything is a weapon. Anything powered by gas, propane, kerosene, grease and oil, paper, plastic, fabric, and pretty much everything else you find in your everyday life. If it’s flammable, Caroline can and will use it against her enemy. Caroline also has a special weapon she loves to use, simply because it looks so cool. She carries a samurai sword, and when the time comes to be intimidating, she uses her pyrokinesis to ignite the blade.
Religion: Pagan, if any.
Basic Alignment: Chaotic neutral.
Political Alignment: Independent party.
Hopes/desires: Caroline hopes that one day, she will be able to control her ability well enough to leave the Haven and lead a normal life. Unlike others whose mutations are more physical, Caroline is utterly normal looking… until she bursts into flame.
Fears/phobias: Water is the natural enemy of fire, and Caroline seems to know it. She’s never learned how to swim and is afraid to be near a body of water deep enough to drown in.
Sexual Orientation: Straight.
Dirty Secrets: Caroline has a terrible tendency to get excited and burn people accidentally… especially people she kisses.
Introvert or extrovert: Extrovert.
Positive Traits: Caroline is quite spirited and lively, sometimes mischievous. She loves to pull pranks on her friends and classmates, and is always looking to have fun. Caroline is very savvy when it comes to dealing with people. Though some have accused her of being able to read minds, and most wouldn’t doubt it, Caroline has kept mum on the issue. Fire seems to burn in her deep chocolate gaze, and most who are confronted with it are unable to tell her lies and falsities.
Negative Traits: Caroline can be bossy and pushy if she thinks people aren’t doing things that need to be done. She is often critical of others and has been frequently too quick to judge. Caroline also has a bad habit of worrying constantly over things she can’t change.
Type of combat: Hand-to-hand.
Noted accomplishments: None yet.
Hobbies: Martial arts – both the training and the cheesy movies.
Pets: Caroline has none, as she accidentally blew up a pet mouse once and does not trust herself.
Strengths: In battle, Caroline is fearsome. Her hair and garments whipping in an unseen wind, she pushes a large fireball forward towards her enemies. She can do this from quite a remarkable distance, also, so she is invaluable as a mid-range weapon.
Weaknesses: Repeated use of pyrokinesis will leave Caroline exhausted with a horrifying headache. After prolonged use it can take several days for her to recover, though each time she does so the skill seems less strenuous.
Skills/Abilities: Caroline can create fire out of thin air.
Background/History: There’s not much of a story to tell. Caroline was only six months old when she unwittingly lit her crib on fire. Her parents sent her to the Haven a day later, and Caroline has been a student at the Haven ever since.

This Character Sheet is for a 1x1 with Kris, Secrets of Innis. (Dead)
Name: Brianna “Bree” Firesong
Age: 17
Appearance: (Since this is for a 1x1, I got lazy and just used a picture. It can be found in my Character Pics album.)
Personality:
Brianna is very shy and quiet around most of the residents of Innis. People seem inclined to avoid her, whether because of her withdrawn nature or because of the unusual birthmark she bears on the left side of her face. Besides her aging grandmother, her best friend is the only one she can really be herself around. Deep down, she is fun-loving and adventurous, with a great sense of humor and a fondness for practical jokes. She does have a serious side, however, which most often shows as she nears the edge of the Black Woods. She can become very distant and detached, as if she can sense something that others cannot.
Weapons:
Brianna carries her father’s short sword with her at all times. His longsword was lost in the Black Woods with him, but the smaller one is the perfect fit for his now teenaged daughter. She carries it with pride, though it is a little battered. There are runes of some sort etched on the blade, but neither Brianna or her grandmother know what they mean. She carries a small round shield, made of steel, whenever she feels she’ll be heading into trouble. Brianna is also armed with a dagger that she carries strapped to her ankle, inside her boot, for emergencies.
Special Skills:
Brianna has a rudimentary knowledge of the use of herbs in healing, and is in the process of being trained as a full healer by her grandmother. She practices with her sword and shield daily, so she handles them well. She is a skilled equestrian and only the most determined mounts can dislodge her seat. For some reason, Brianna never has trouble starting a fire… though she’s not sure why.
History:
Brianna never knew her parents. Her grandmother raised her, and always told her that her parents were lost in the Black Woods shortly after Brianna was born. All she knows about them is that her mother’s name was Alyssia and her father’s name was Bryant.
Brianna is largely shunned by the population of Innis. The few other children often made fun of her because of her mark, failing to see that it was part of her unique beauty. Though her grandmother always said that the mark would bring Brianna great happiness someday, she would never tell her granddaughter why or how. Brianna’s most cherished possessions are two large, pinkish feathers she wears as an adornment in her hair. These belonged to her mother.

In the interest of making this thread one a little more diverse... a poem by me.
Untitled
How many times would you tell me to go
Before I would actually leave?
How many times would you say you didn't want me
Before I would actually believe?
You expect me to fight for you, try for you
But I'm tired of waging this war
Why should I battle to keep you beside me
When it's clear we're not strong anymore?
You threw me away like so much trash
And then you changed your mind
Over and over we had to rehash
Things better left behind.
These days it's just your survival
That keeps you coming back
You know that you don't have a rival
To prevent you the love that you lack.
You speak but won't listen
You look but don't see
You don't know of the change
That's happened in me.
I'm tired of fufilling your endless need
Giving and giving to never recieve
You just take and you never heed
The sign that the giving is over for me.
So say it again, that we're over and done
The battle has ended and my war is won
Tell me to get out and watch me go
What you've lost in the process, you'll never know.
Criticism and comments always appreciated.

This CS is a work in progress, and isn't for any specific RP. I just love Soul Reapers so much, I am making one of my own. Hopefully I'll use her in a Bleach RP someday!
Name: Nishiko Haijinki
Age: 213 years in Soul Society
Race: Shinigami
Appearance:
Nishiko is petite in stature, standing only 5' 3" with her shoes on, crafted of lean muscle and restrained energy. Every movement, even the simple act of walking, seems to be a carefully controlled dance of grace and precision, the result of many long years spent constantly refining skills in movement and balance. Indeed, were it not for the Shihakusho that always covers her slender frame Nishiko could easily be mistaken for a dancer or gymnast. She has long black hair that is most often worn in a high ponytail with long bangs that often fall forward into her face. Though her light green eyes are most expressive, betraying her passions and pains, the rest of her visage is usually a stony mask of unmoving reserve. An unblemished complexion of the palest ivory serves as a canvas for high cheekbones, a straight, narrow nose, full, shapely lips and an oddly strong jawline. Though rare, Nishiko's smile is a brilliant white and highly contagious. The only truly unusual thing about Nishiko's appearance is her tattoo, a partial sleeve that begins on her right shoulder with stylized waves, a Koi fish over her bicep, and pale pink sakura blossoms over a tribal pattern that reaches just past her elbow.
Personality:
History:
Skill Levels:
Zanjetsu: Expert
Nishiko is very good with her sword, both in its released and unreleased states. She trains very frequently
with the bare, unreleased blade. She has attained Bankai, though very recently, and is not very practiced
with the new technique.
Kido: Master
The Demonic Arts is where Nishiko truly shows her skill, the one area where she considers herself a master.
She is able to use techniques that are unavailable to most Shinigami, including Eishohaki and Shunkō.
Hakuda: Proficient
While Nishiko is no weakling, and able to hold her own in a hand-to-hand match, she is no expert and can
be defeated quite easily if her Kido and Zanpaktuo are somehow disabled.
Hoho: Proficient
Nishikio is able to use Shunpo rather easily, but is not as fast as many others. She can keep up with most
Shinigami that use the Shunpo technique, but Masters of this art are able to leave Nishiko in the dust.
Zanpakutō: Safaia Hebi (Sapphire Serpent)
Unreleased Appearance:
Spoiler
In its unreleased state, Sapphire Serpent appears to be a normal katana. The blade is single-edged, slightly curved, 27.5 inches in length. The hilt is bound in a deep blue color, with a small tassel of the same hue at the end.
Released Appearance:
When Nishiko is ready to release her zanpaktuo, she gives the command “Rage, Sapphire Serpent!” ("Kyoubou, Safaia Hebi!") Dark blue reiatsu explodes around Nishiko, completely obscuring her from view. Within the haze, Safaia Hebi elongates into a naginata with a five foot long staff and bearing a twelve inch blade at the end. The blade is slightly curved and has a fierce looking ridge on the back side. The base of the blade seems to disappear into a dragon’s mouth, and is etched with flames that glow faintly blue with Nishiko’s reiatsu. The serpent’s body wraps around the long staff, and a long blue ribbon trails from the end.
Elemental Association: Electricity/Energy/Plasma
Shikai Attacks
Spirit Slash – any slashing motion can be used to release a bow-shaped arc of spiritual energy. This expands as it travels away from Nishiko.
Whirlwind – by spinning the staff quickly over her head, Nishiko can create a whirlwind of blue spirit energy that is sent at the opponent much like a tornado.
Spitting Serpent – by repeatedly thrusting the point of the blade forward, Nishiko creates a large number of smaller arcs that travel much faster than the Spirit Slash. She can fire up to two hundred of these little energy bursts per minute.
Blue Fire – a large ball of blue energy gathers at the tip of the blade. Nishiko calls the command, “Breathe the fire of heaven, Sapphire Serpent!” and the blue ball explodes into an energy beam with a six foot circumference. Electricity seems to crackle on the beam itself, and upon striking a target the electricity continues to dance on the target’s surface, increasing the damage.
Bankai: Sapphire Serpent of Heaven’s Vengeance (Safaia Hebi no Tenmou)
To release bankai, Nishiko calls the command, “Rage through starlit skies and midnight seas, Sapphire Serpent of Heaven's Vengeance!” Another explosion of blue reiatsu occurs, and when the dust clears a second blade has been added to the opposite end of the staff from the first. The second blade is about six inches long. A tuft of blue fur appears to ring Nishiko’s neck, and blue wings of crackling spiritual energy seem to sprout from her back. A huge blue dragon, composed entirely of spirit energy and sparking with electricity, has its tail curled around Nishiko and rises behind her. This dragon performs all the striking, able to breathe devastating blue fire at opponents as well as biting, clawing, and using its head as a battering ram. The dragon is controlled by the motion of Nishiko’s blade.
Kidō Used:
Hadō – Way of Destruction
Hadō 1 “Shō” (Thrust) – pushes the target away from the caster.
Hadō 4 “Byakurai” (White Lightning) - The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.
Hadō 33 “Sōkatsui” (Blue Fire, Crash Down) - Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target over a wide area.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws."
Hadō 63 “Sōren Sōkatsui” (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down) - Essentially a doubled version of #33 (labeled as #73 in anime), this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.
Incantation: "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens."
Bakudō – Way of Binding
Bakudō 1 "Sai" (Restrain): Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.
Bakudō 9 "Geki" (Strike): Engulfs a target in red light, completely paralyzing them.
Incantation: "Disintegrate, black dog of Rondaniini. Look upon your burning soul and sever your throat."
Bakudō 21 "Sekienton" (Red Smoke Escape): Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.
Bakudō 62 “Hyapporankan” (Hundred Stepped Rail): A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.
Other Kidō Used
"Hakufuku" (White Crawl): Causes a target to lose consciousness.
Note: While no incantation is given, this kidō must be used while in contact with the target.
“Keikatsu”: A healing technique that several shinigami (even those outside of 4th Division) can use.
Reiatsu: Dark blue
Special Abilities: Aside from the powers and techniques most shinigami possess, Nishiko has the ability to track reiatsu from long distances. Once she has come into physical contact with a person or their reiatsu (i.e., through touch or battle) she can sense that particular energy signature from a far greater distance than an average shinigami, even if steps are taken to mask it. This holds doubly true for the reiatsu of those she has a strong personal attachment to.
Nishiko is an expert Kido user, her skill at the Demon Arts rivaled by very few people. She is able to utilize the Eishohaki technique, wherein a Kido is cast without the use of an incantation. Though risky, Nishiko is able to cast Kido this way with an approximately 90% success rate. She has been known to use double incantations. Nishiko also uses Shunkō, a skill practiced by only a handful of people. This is Nishiko's newest skill and she hesitates to use it, because while it is very powerful it is difficult to control.
Weakness: Nishiko fights very much from the heart. This can result in great strength for her, but it is usually more of a weakness. A skilled opponent who is able to provoke Nishiko to anger stands a better chance of defeating her. In her rush to inflict maximum pain and damage, Nishiko has been known to make serious mistakes. To a lesser opponent, however, Nishiko’s anger can be devastating and is best left alone.
