    Quarantine/Dawson High

*I based this on a book called "Quarantine," by Lex Thomas. You don't have to have read the book to participate, but I'm not taking credit for the idea.
It's a day like any other at Dawson High; teachers are boring, class is mind-numbing, luch is disgusting. You head up to your sixth period class. You're taking notes (or not), when, in the middle of the lecture, your teacher starts choking up blood. You frantically search the room for something to help. Students are screaming; one reaches for the phone. Within seconds, your teacher falls to the floor dead.
This is how it begins. All the adults in the school are dead, and some of the seniors, too. The doors and windows of the school are shut tight, and a gray mesh tent is lowered over it. Any student that escapes is shot by the soldiers stationed outside. Everyone else is trapped inside with the bodies of their superiors and no one to explain the events of the past few days.
All the food and supplies are picked clean within a week. You're starving. You still have electricity and running water, so you're able to stay fairly warm and clean, but no one has contact with the outside world. All the networks have been shut down.
In the beginning, all the students sleep in one room. It seems safer that way. Eventually, though, they begin to divide into sepearte groups. each group claims a space for themselves and sleeps there.
One day, about two weeks into the quarantine, you notice a hole being opened in the tent. There is a helicopter hovering over it. More students catch sight of it as ity slowly lowers a crate through the hole, and the n flies away. The hole closes.
The crate is about the size of a trailer, made of wood. It cracks open when it hits the ground, and food and other necessities spill out. There is silence, and then chaos.
Students scramble to collect as many supplies as they can, carrying them to their respective rooms. There are sleeping bags, soap, little bottles of medicine, and anything else you could possibly need. The crate is picked clean in 10 minutes.
    Food Drops
Every two weeks, the military drops a crate of food and supplies through a slit in the tent. After the drop, the hole is sealed back up. Food drops tend to be bloody and chaotic, with all the groups fighting over supplies.
    Groups
Varsity: basically consists of any male athlete in the school. Usually get the majority of food and supplies from the drops.
The Pretty Ones: pretty girls, popular, girlfriends of guys in Varsity. These two groups usually work together.
Nerds: Smart, sleep in library, in bookshelves converted into bunk beds.
Geeks: all the artsy people. Drama, art and music.
Freaks: basically just that. They try to be as weird as possible.
Sluts: girls that fight hard (he he. That was unintentional, but I'm keeping it). Female warriors, I guess.
Skaters: pretty self-explanatory. Built a half-pipe in their home base.
Loners: not really a group at first. People that aren't part of any other group. Eventually band together.
    Trade
Eventually, different groups will begin to trade things. Some groups have specific things thast they deal in:
The Pretty Ones-beauty products and services
Nerds-books, restored computers and electronics. Re-open the library.
Geeks-artwork and tickets to the "Geek Show," which is basically a carnival including a play, music, food, comedy, and games.
The rest of the groups just trade whatever they have.

Well I have a bit of a question. Is some sort of cannibalism allowed or killing other students?

I guess, but not other players (unless they say it's ok). Also, it's probably not going to go over very well, so you should probably watch your back if you do that...

    Group: Freaks
Personality: before quarantine; introvert, quiet / after quarantine; went kinda nuts, says everything that comes to mind, hates boring stuff
Bio: His mother had died giving birth to Max and he lived alone with his father. His dad was a succesful bussinessman, but his job required him to travel a lot so Max lived mostly by himself. Because of his father's job Max had moved to a lot of towns already and had given up on making friends again at this new school as he would just leave them again. His grades were always mediocre (just enough to pass) because he didn't really care about school anyway. In some of the previous towns there had been martial art clubs that he went to and he had become quite good at some of them. This town had none so he was even more bored here. That was so, until the quarantine.

You should read it. I think you'd like it.
Anyway, Could you give me a bit of background on your family? Also, I feel like I should know what you meant by "take a wild guess," but I have no idea. Otherwise it's accepted. Let's see if we can get a few more people...any ideas?
