    Stranded {IC}

Flight 147 departed from Los Angeles on March 28th to New Zealand's international airport at 8:00am. Ruellen Yun-Joo boarded that plane with her sister, both eager to explore the lonesome island. Her sister Eun-Sae had recently married, about 4 months ago. Before that Ruellen hadn't spent time with her sister for nearly 3 years. Eun-Sae was busy with her life, getting her Master's degree in Fine Arts, as always the aspiring photographer.

The flight itself was dreadfully long, almost an entire day. The last thing Ruellen remembered was opening her eyes to check the time. 4:39 A.M. They were almost there! Until the sound of tearing metal filled the entire cabin. The oxygen masks fell out just as the plane began to nose dive. She remembered the anxiety rise in her chest as the plane fell.

    Daylight

Her eyelids fluttered open as the sun struck her eyes. They stung with something fierce. A strange wet sensation placated the side of her face. Touching the wetness with her fingertips, she drew them away to see blood. Panic gripped her chest. What the hell happened?! She sat up immediately only to be greeted with flashing colours. Collecting her senses quickly, Ruellen could see sand beneath her, and water that lapped at her feet. Smelling smoke, she turned to investigate, only to see Flight 147 in flames. She could see people, amongst the shredded metal. Not much remained of the cockpit. A crumpled mess of metal.
"Hey!" Rue called out, trying to see if anyone was alive. The part of the plane that was on fire were the engines, still spinning but erratically.

"Hey!" She called again, this time taking off for the plane. Someone had to be alive! "Eun-Sae!" Now Rue grew worried as she began to think of her sister.

A burning flash of sunlight, the smell of water, and Sean was up. The lanky student gripped his head, groaning lugubriously as he hoisted himself up. He looked forward, seeing decadent fauna and vibrant flora, a transition from sandy beach to lush jungle. Sean went to check his watch, surprised to find it smashed, still on his wrist, the hour hand sinking into the sand. He then decided to turn around.

Sean gripped his head again, trying to control his breathing.

"Oh shit, oh shit..how the hell did this happen?"

He tried to gather what remained of his belongings, a suitcase with a chunk of metal embedded in the front. As his head kept reeling, he looked around to see if anyone else had survived?

    "Hello? Anybody?!"

It was the longest flight Elizabeth had ever been on and her first flight out of the states. She still had her passport from her roadtrip to Canada, which was one of the reasons she was chosen for this trip. The day had dragged on slowly and had mostly been spent reading a novel. Then around 10:30 she had managed to fall asleep.

Elizabeth awoke with a sudden jolt. Were they landing? There was an oxygen mask. She put it on. What was happening?! People were going frantic, everything was a racket, something smelled wrong...the plane gave a hard jolt and Elizabeth blacked out.

The young architect awoke with a heavy weight against her chest. She made an effort to breath, but it was difficult. Elizabeth opened her eyes. The oxygen mask was still on her, but it wasn't supplying any oxygen. She tried to move. Her left arm was trapped. One of the airplane seats had broken off and was wedged against her. The passenger who had been in it was on the floor, not moving. Elizabeth pulled her right arm out from under her and ripped off her mask. There was heat nearby. "I have to get out of here!" Elizabeth thought frantically.

    "Help!" Elizabeth cried, "Help! Help!"
Lawful Good, just not at the same time

Sean heard frantic cries of help, drifting over from the heap of metal that used to to be an airplane. He quickened his pace, his feet slapping against the soft, hot sand. As he wiped sweat off of his thin, tall brow, he thanked whatever powers ruled above.

The scrawny student breathed a sigh of relief as the crash site came into view, speeding up. When he did reach the wreckage, he found Liza, her arm trapped, stuck. He wrapped his hands around the armrest of the fallen chair, and, using as much strength as he could muster, pulled the chair off of her arm, helping her up.

He took a deep breath, and, having calmed down a bit, he turned back to Liza.

    "Damn..you okay?"
His Scottish accent was thick, and it thickened with his apparent anxiety.

Sage moaned, pain skipping through her limbs as she pried her eyes open. Rubbing the sand from her face, she struggled into a sitting position and looked around. The last thing she remembered was hearing her own scream before hitting the seat in front of her and being knocked unconscious.
She faintly remembered sitting in her seat before the crash. Her mind immediately skipped to her phone. Ignoring the searing pain in her torso, the eighteen year old girl quickly got onto her hands and knees and began searching for her phone. Her eyes caught a light glint under a seat that had been torn from its position and she scrambled over to the small iPhone that had been cracked beyond repair. A song skipped and glitched somewhere from the speakers, and she groaned before finally feeling the pain in her side.
The torn tee-shirt that clung to her skin was soaked in red, and multiple cuts and bruises ran across her arms and stomach. Clumps of dirt and sand stuck in her auburn hair. The heavy scent of smoke invaded her lungs as she inspected herself. With a deep cough, she crawled out from the metal wreckage of the plane and sat under a large tree. Resisting the urge to fall into unconsciousness again she leaned her head back and let out another cough.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" Her voice was barely a whisper as she spoke. Some people had to be alive. The crash couldn't have been too bad as to kill everyone. The thought have her chills. She quickly shook it off and shakily rose to her feet to look for any survivors.

The first thing that came to mind when Kristoph awoke was to puke. So he did. He tried to open his eyes but upon doing so, immediately closed them again. It was too bright right now, he'd have to give it a moment.

A few minutes later, he had the strength to check where he was. He was... in a tree. Lovely. Why? The last thing Kristoph can remember is being on an airplane. Then being awoken by the woman next to him, frantically shoving an oxygen mask at his face. He contemplated what went wrong as he watched his vomit slowly drip from one branch to another. He had a pounding headache and thinking was probably a bad idea, but what else could he do?

The plane crashed. Freak accident? Terrorism? They'd blame him, surely. He wasn't only German, but was a doctor involved in a scandal. He'd be suspect number one.

“Mein Gott,” he muttered. He squirmed before realized that was probably a bad idea, too! The leaves around him rustled and a few must have fallen to the ground. Kristoph just can't think. He'd need help to get down. He couldn't have been more than twenty feet.

H-Hey? Is anyboty ffere? I need help...” he rasped. He needed water. He couldn't shout as loud as he wanted. Or rather, as he needed.

Belle awoke on the soft sand floor. She grabbed her large stomach and held it trying to feel any kind of movement coming from inside of her. Nothing. She had trouble sitting up, her shoulder felt knocked out of its socket. Oh god my baby, my baby! She thought in her head as she hoped for any sign of life coming from inside her. She could hear the other passengers screaming and panicing. She stood and watched as the destruction unfolded in front of her. The plane was on fire, people ran and screamed, some tried to save those still trapped inside. Belle remembered the plane had gone down, but for how long she had been alseep was unknown to her. She got closer to the plane then realized the fire was spreading to the remaining engine. Her eyes grew wide and she started screaming "Get away from the plane!!! Get away from the plane!! It's going to explode!! Everyone get away from the plane!!" She yelled as loud as her voice would let her. Then a feeling of hope washed over her, as she felt a push coming from inside her. The baby was still alive.
See the animal in his cage that you built. Are you sure what side you're on? Better not look him too closely in the eye. Are you sure what side of the glass you are on? See the safety of the life you have built. Everything where it belongs. Feel the hollowness inside of your heart. And it's all... Right where it belongs. What if everything around you. Isn't quite as it seems? What if all the world you think you know. Is an elaborate dream? And if you look at your reflection. Is it all you want it to be? What if you could look right through the cracks? Would you find yourself... Find yourself afraid to see? What if all the world's inside of your head. Just creations of your own? Your devils and your gods. All the living and the dead. And you're really all alone? You can live in this illusion. You can choose to believe. You keep looking but you can't find the woods. While you're hiding in the trees. What if everything around you. Isn't quite as it seems? What if all the world you used to know. Is an elaborate dream? And if you look at your reflection. Is it all you want to be? What if you could look right through the cracks. Would you find yourself... Find yourself afraid to see?

Zeland was asleep faster than a baby could ever dream. Flying wasn't his preferred method of transportation, but it was the only way to get to New Zealand... or at least the fastest. Unfortunately for him he woke up right as the plan was going down. He was sitting near the front, and the man next to him had some sort of bottle smashed through his face. Glass was all over his lap, as he quickly grabbed the oxygen masks. He passed out.
He woke up face up floating in the water, the water pushed him onto a sandy beach. He rubbed his head, it pulsating with every beat, an immobilizing headache.
"Uh... Mein kopf," he mumbled rolling over to his side where he saw a woman pregnant yelling at people to get away from the plane... Where's the cockpit? Zeland put one and two together looking out towards the ocean. I came from out there, so the cockpit must be out there. He forced himself walking towards the woman closest to the plane.
"Ma'am!" he called his voice surprisingly loud after what had just happened, "Your to close to the plane! If it does explode you'll be caught in the shock wave let alone in range of all the shrapnel!" He felt pain with every step before he got to her, grabbing her shoulders pulling her to the treeline.
"Stay behind one of the larger trees," he said falling over landing face first into the the sand. The softness of the sand wasn't enough to prevent an instant shock of pain through his head.

Hearing the woman's warnings, Sage immediately began backing away from the plane. She saw a few people who were in the plane trying to help loved ones or anyone they could. Turning, she saw a man and a pregnant woman farther along by the trees.
A leaf landed in her hair, catching in the filth of what might have been blood. Snapping her head up, she narrowly avoided a bit of puke from a man higher in the branches. If he was thrown that far the crash must have been terrible.
A short walk brought her farther into the tree line where she collapsed back against a tree in exhaustion. Once again, sleep threatened to overwhelm her, but she shook her head viciously to wipe it away. Pain instantly blocked all of her senses. With a pained yelp, she ducked her head and pulled her knees to her chest.
Alright, she thought to herself. I have to find Matt. Sage rose to her feet and began calmly walking towards the plane, avoiding any eye contact she could make as she searched the plane for her step-brother. If she had survived, maybe he had too.
A silent body was crumpled under a seat near the front of the plane. The familiar bright blue streaks in his black hair brought salty tears to her eyes, and she turned away and began walking back to the trees. Breaking down now was not an option.
"You left the tap on last night!"
"We live underground. We don't have tap."
"Then what was that dripping noise I heard last night?!"
"That was just one of my dying victims bleeding out."
    "Oh! Okay."

Belle ran to the trees that lined the beach about 50 yards from the crash sight. She then noticed a man stuck in a tree, still alive. Oh my god, what happened to make the plane crash? Where were they? Why was there no rescue help yet? More and more questions bloomed inside her head. She sat down, dizzy from all the excitment. Most people were covered in blood, but she was not. The only sore spot on her body was her shoulder, but that had begun to feel better. Her baby was alive too, it was a miracle they both survived. Belle looked back towards the people still near the plane, she waved her good arm up and down, "Hey!! Get away from the goddamn plane!!!!" She screamed and motioned towards herself. The engine had begun smoking, it was only a matter of minutes before it would explode. The shards of metal would kill everyone next to the plane and could seriously injure others nearby. It dawned on Belle that all her luggage was still in the plane, and it would soon be gone. Though she didn't have anything of value in there, just clothes. "Please everyone move away from the plane, the engine is on fire!" She screamed again.
