Just A Little Crazy
Sasuke was there up in her face in a flash. Her breath caught in her throat as her eyes went wide. It seemed so out of place to her now, almost as if he lost trust in her. It made a sadness flicker into her lovely lavender tinted eyes. It wasn’t until he turned away and flopped back down on the bed that she was able to let out the breath she had been holding. Looking down at the bag of money, she felt like her heart was bleeding from within. Her mind confused once again. For a long moment all she could do was stare at the boy laying on the bed before turning away and running out the door, her shoes tapping lightly as she slammed the door behind her. She raced out the front of the inn and down the streets, quickly dancing through the people. Once she was deep enough into the city she slowed and glanced behind her, the tears clear in her eyes. She reached up with her hand and quickly wipped away the tears that had slipped from her eyes.
Someone tapped her shoulder lightly, she glanced up to a tall man around her age with a bright red hair. Her eyes showed innocence but she was feeling him out and quickly noted that he was just like any other non-ninja. She would double check with her eyes when she got a chance. “Are you okay miss?” he asked looking slightly worried for her. A slight shock came over her face before she covered it up.
“Ah-ah yeah. My-my. . .ah, I guess, my husband to be and I got in a small fight this morning.” She stuttered out with a small blush. “But thank you, I’ll be okay.” She said with a small smile, noting the small sadness he was masking behind his eyes.
Hinata turned to leave, but the boy called out. “Wait, I’m guessing you’re not from around here, how about I show you around?” He asked giving her a small smile, she looked at him, and thought about it and shook her head.
“I’m sorry but I have to go.” She said softly before quickly ducking back into the crowd. The man tried to reach for her, but easily lost her. She watched from the shadows, using her eyes to see through him. He really was just a normal person. She had nothing to worry about, but she scanned the area around her and found nothing really out of place. So she started to wonder around the grounds of the market and moved from shop to shop until she found almost everything she needed. She picked up some clothing for Sasuke and herself, along with a few weapons for herself, a nice little chain to hang around her neck. All she needed was to find a metal band that she could have a design put in it.
Wandering up into the last shop before she was going to head back, she felt her eyes light up. Just what she was looking for. Walking in the door ringing softly what she saw almost made her turn around and just forget about it all. But the man from before with the red hair had looked up from the counter. “Wait!” He called just as Hinata’s hand touched the door handle. “I’m sorry, I-I didn’t mean to be out of place. Umm, how can I help you.” Hinata waited for a moment letting out a small breath.
Walking back up to the counter she pointed towards the metal bands, a cloth running through it, the metal waiting for a design to be craved in. A ninja head band. The boy couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. “You’re a ninja?” He asked slightly surprised.
Hinata quickly shook her head. “Ah, um. My family puts on plays, I’m picking up things for them. But ah, I was wondering if-“ she fished through her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper with the design Sasuke and her and put together. “If you could put that on it.” She asked softly just hoping the two would have enough money. She hadn’t told Sasuke her plan yet. But if they were going to be on the move a lot they may as well be ninja to hire.
Konoha no Odayaka Sandā
Sasuke watched Hinata leave with his minds eye; pretending to be asleep. Step one of his ultimate plan had been accomplished. Sasuke disappeared dressed in his typical outfit heading into the mass crowd. Sasuke blended in with his top notch training making sure he was never seen or remembered as that one guy doing that one thing. Sasuke made it to the edge of town; with a swift jump headed for the tallest building he could find and began to scout out for Hinata. Sasuke spotted the girl conversing with a red headed boy; activating his Sharingan allowed him to read lips even at the distance; spotting one word that set off alarms through out his entire body. 'Ninja'. Sasuke allowed the conversation to play out; Hinata covering her ass well though Sasuke knew better than to trust the red headed boy who was so clearly drooling over the looks of the woman before him.
Hinata turned away from the man with a bag; though that was not of concern to Sasuke. He had a target; a red headed boy leaving his stall to follow Hinata, the look in his eyes not so innocent. Sasuke jumped from his post and within seconds grabbed the boy and crept into the shadows. Sasuke threw the boy into a wall his eyes colder than the evilest man who had ever walked the earth.”Wha-what is your deal?” Sasuke connected a strong right handed punch sending the boy crashing to the ground. “Who do you work for!” Sasuke growled in anger as the red headed boy tried to run away; only to be cut off be the evil Uchiha. “One last chance; who.” The red headed boy grimaced before turning to throw a kick towards Sasuke. The force behind the kick shocked the Uchiha even though he had saw it from a mile away.
Sasuke blocked the kicked sliding on the old side walk from the force. It was obvious this was some sort of trained man and had a mark on Hinata. Sasuke smirked wildly as his eyes formed and cutting a mental hole into the red headed boy the size of Konoha. “Uchiha! But how!” Sasuke shot forward with his left leg connecting with the red-headed boy. Before the opponent could hit the ground he bounded off the walls and disappeared into the air almost like a ghost; the connection finally hit Sasuke. “So this is the assassin Tsunade wanted to use when I denied my involvement into Madara's plan, Well played old lady.” Sasuke turned from the alley and headed back into the crowd trying to beat Hinata home to the Inn.
