I'm looking for someone who would like to do a Doctor Who RP. Just your general traveling-through-time-and-space-saving-the-world-etc. kind of thing. I will play the Doctor, the 12th Doctor so there won't be any personality confusion with any of the previous 11 Doctors. Needless to say I'm looking for a companion, someone not only brave, and curious, and smart, but someone who can commit to giving at least 51% to this. If you can promise me 51% I can promise you 51%, sound fair?
As a heads-up, I'm only in the middle of season 5 so I may not pick up on mentions of events that happen after. I'm catching up though.
Now, since I have a feeling this may be a rather popular idea (or not, but I can be hopeful) this is not going to be first-come-first-served. Think of it as an audition.
Now, here's what you need to do to get in:
Write a scene in which your character (can be male or female, but preferably female since the Doctor's companions are usually female) encounters the Doctor in a coffee shop (by the way, you won't know who he is unless he tells you). Portray the Doctor however you think he ought to be, it's an evaluation of the companion so how your character reacts will have a lot more weight. PM this to me, it doesn't have to be an essay, but I expect at least a few paragraphs and proper grammer/spelling.
How to please me:
I'll not only look at your writing capability and style, but also your level of creativity/imagination. You're in a coffee shop meeting the Doctor for the first time, anything could happen.
I don't like a lot of foul language.
I would like this to be light-hearted and fun, so overly dark themes are a turn-off for me.
That's about it, I'll be in the TARDIS if you need me.

Unfortunately I have midterms tomorrow and cannot begin writing up a starter for a companion right this moment as it is 3:34am, and I should really be in bed. Not lurking through the 1x1 Interest Checks.
