It is the beginning of the Fifth Era in Skyrim. Much has changed the history of this province and Tamriel forever. The Dragon War has ended through the valiant efforts of the Dragonborn. The Aldmeri Dominion has given the Empire its final deathblow, making the once great imperial force nothing more than a rumor of times past. With their conquest of Tamriel, the Thalmor have conquered Skyrim and it’s neighboring High Rock, wiping out the Stormcloaks and beheading their leader Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak on the steps of the Palace of the Kings. The Aldmeri Dominion has receded from Hammerfell, and have began their invasion of Morrowind. Within Skyrim, things have changed also. The Companions were left to do what they wish, the College of Winterhold was expanded upon, and has become the magical safe haven it once was. The Thieves Guild have expanded, claiming the entire city of Riften for their own. The Dark Brotherhood has grown to now having three sanctuaries in Skyrim. The Forsworn have taken back the Reach for their own and now they rule that with an iron fist. There is no law in Skyrim anymore, murders are no longer investigated, robberies are no longer punished. Times have changed, and it seems that the time of Men is over, and the time of Mer has risen once again.

There is rumor of an organization dedicated to the overthrow of the Dominion, and to restore law and order to the once great province of Skyrim. They have been called the Insurrection, but they have not really taken a name for themselves. These children of the north are not easily defeated and have the heart of the cold, boreal wind at their backs, and the strength of the violent storms above their heads. Led by a devious, hyper intelligent, brute of a man, these legionnaires will bring a upsetting change to the High Elven tyrants that have had Skyrim in the palm of their hand for the entire beginning of this era.

The winds of change are unpredictable, sometimes they may come fast, and sometimes they come at the last second. Fate is not something that mortal men and mer can control.......

I am looking for 6-7 participants for this RP.
Mid to High Casual is preferred, but I understand that somethings have the potential to shorten posts.
I am expecting character development, struggles, loss, emotions, possibly love...etc.
Please be reasonable with your characters. Not everyone can be as badass as the Dragonborn.

Summary: The Aldmeri Dominion has wiped out the Empire, killed Ulfric Stormcloak and his rebellion, taken over every province in Tamriel, bar Morrowind and Hammerfell. The different factions in Skyrim have expanded. Skyrim is basically a lawless wasteland of sorts. There is a rebellion growing in Skyrim, and the Thalmor are ignoring them.


Ok, so if you have any questions or ideas, just post them here, and i'll see if they work out.

Also, looking for someone to write for the Thalmor and the leader of the rebellion, mainly because I suck at writing a antagonist.
